Sun News Network, Canada’s only openly right-of-center news channel, will cease broadcasting early Friday morning, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation revealed. Launched in 2011 by media mogul Pierre-Karl Péladeau, it had trouble attracting audiences. About 200 people will be without a job.
Supporters of the channel complain that the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (the Canadian FCC) did not put it on par with other similar channels. But CTV News reports that the CRTC said that Sun News did not meet the criteria to be a “compulsory” channel in 2013. It stated in its refusal that “Sun News did not clearly demonstrate how its service would make an exceptional contribution to the objectives of the Act”, i.e. the Broadcasting Act that regulates all airwaves in Canada.

You can bet the leftist socialists that infest Canada were working behind the scenes for its demise. I recall in the early 90’s groups were demanding the government block the signal of the Buffalo NY station that broadcast Rush Limbaugh’s TV show when it was on.
Advertisers don’t want hard-headed conservatives who know the value of a dollar, and other things too.
They want malleable liberals who know the value of nothing.
It’s tough.
Andrew had his own issues. He was against listening to the Birthers. if near the end he changed wind as he talked to Sheriff Arpaio hours before his death then it was never known. Breitbart hired a guy to smear Birthers, but he got in trouble when he didn’t want to follow orders. Now Charles C. Johnson runs Got News.
They were not a leftwing channel and they were blacklisted, of course.

That is one of the best explanations for why the media of all forms (television, radio, movies and music) are dominated by American-hating marxists. By definition, a Conservative is a rational, intelligent being and not susceptible to advertising fads. Since they are smart and discerning, product and services are chosen by their actual merits and not the hype of advertising nor the passing fancy de jour. A thoughtful person -- a Conservative -- buys the steak and not the sizzle.
In contrast, the liberal "mind" is like that of a child and easily cajoled. They have no brand loyalty nor can they make a decision based on reason or value. Thus, the liberal "mind" is fertile ground for advertising. In a consumer-oriented marketplace, it's only natural that businesses will seek out the easily persuaded to move the goods. Ergo, there rises a leftist-controlled, lamestream media to reach the readily influenced.
He tends toward the libertarian end of conservatism, but I have heard him take some non-libertarian positions and criticize libertarians. He’s certainly no Ron Paul type.
