Judge Says Gay 'Conversion Therapy' Claims Can Be Consumer Fraud Mary Pat Gallagher, New Jersey Law Journal February 10, 2015
It is a violation of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act to describe homosexuality as abnormal or a mental illness in advertising or to sell services to convert a person's sexual orientation, a New Jersey judge ruled Feb. 10, in a decision believed to be the first of its kind in the U.S

In principle... I say sure, bring on the accusations. This will allow for some facts to come into the sunlight that our dear rainbow pals won’t like so much.
In practice... more dirty tricks, bother, expense.
Does that mean that all the people who changed must now become homosexual again?
Satisfaction guaranteed or double your vices back??
That’s it!
“Abnormal” — well, genius IQs are abnormal too but they are not using their minds here. When a dictionary word cannot be used in its, er, normal sense then we now are suffering under mean meaning nannies.
Unless they make warranties and don’t deliver, how is it fraud if they don’t make a successful conversion? Does that mean I can sue an alcohol rehab facility if a family member I sent there relapses?
Homosexualist purveyors of PC bullsh*t simply wish to silence all dissent.
End of story.
Ah, you’re asking people to REASON.
They can now go after churches and Christians for consumer fraud.
We have transsexuals today, why not transorientists?
Judges now are social scientists, lawgivers, lawmakers, and law interpreters. Dictatorship of the judiciary. The gay-loving media plays along. Mainline religions play along, and a docile public accepts.
Really? I can say you are a sinner and convert you.
I can say you worship an apostate religion that is dark and convert you.
I can help someone who asks for help in those two scenarios but, I cannot help you with your sexual predilections?
What if you are a serial philanderer? No help is possible? you are what you are and there is no question?
What if you are a serial bigamist? No help is possible? you are what you are and there is no question?
What if you have a preference for little boys and you are a man? No help is possible? you are what you are and there is no question?
What if you found yourself indulging in a lifestyle that you are now questioning as primacy and/or relevancy in your life. No help is possible? you are what you are and there is no question?
So the judge is now legislating psychiatry?
Gee. Why waste time on things like genetics and behavioral psychology. Just ask the Law School guys to fabricate it.
Never thought of that. The Confessional will now be viewed as offering unhealthy and damaging advice of repenting and reforming, and forgiveness.
1. Does this cover Addadictomies?
2. A range of counseling services cover those holding undesired sexual thoughts, feelings and persons who have acted in ways contrary to social norms and civil laws regarding sexual behavior. For example, persons who have been convicted of sexual crimes against children receive counseling services from state licensed therapists. Does this judge’s ruling apply to all the persons and professions dealing on a daily basis with patients, students, etc., seeking changes to their sexual orientations and sexual desires and sexual behaviors?
3. And does #2 extend to marital counseling in cases of extramarital affairs? Is a married man’s sexual attraction to females who are not his wife forbidden as a topic for therapeutic treatment?
What if you discover that you’re a heterosexual in a homosexual’s body? Will the government fund the conversion?
So when can we sue Al Gore? He said it’s supposed to be warmer but it’s getting colder.
Bringer Jenner definitely needs therapy.
In other words, they’re refuting virtually a mountain hill of scientific evidence that says the opposite? Look at all the twin studies and other research. These people are not happy and in many ways have multiple addictions.
A smart politician would stay away from this nonsense and just ask for an honest debate among scientists.
