Jindal: “The Medieval Christian threat is under control, Mr. President”

Jindal: “The Medieval Christian threat is under control, Mr. President” FEBRUARY 6, 2015 9:40 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

bobby-jindalJindal has an important point. Even if Obama is correct (he isn’t) that the Crusades were some equivalent of the depredations of the Islamic State today, this does not excuse him or his Administration from their responsibility to face the current threat honestly and deal with it realistically. 900-year-old Christian atrocities, real and imagined, do not excuse his refusal to recognize the reality of the jihad threat.

“Jindal Mocks Obama on Crusades: We’ve Got ‘Medieval Christian Threat’ Under Control,” by Josh Feldman, Mediaite, February 6, 2015 (thanks to Anne Crockett):

President Obama yesterday obliquely addressed the controversy over his administration not referring to terrorist groups like ISIS as being “radical Muslims.” The president said that plenty of horrible things have been done in the name of Christianity, like the Inquisition and the Crusades.

Obama’s gotten some mockery from the right for referencing events from hundreds of years ago, and today Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal joined the fray. In a statement today, he says the president really isn’t addressing the pressing issue of terrorism and instead giving people a history lesson.

And then came the mocking:

“We will be happy to keep an eye out for runaway Christians, but it would be nice if he would face the reality of the situation today. The Medieval Christian threat is under control Mr. President. Please deal with the Radical Islamic threat today.”

White House deputy press secretary Eric Schultz said today Obama was talking about being “honest with ourselves” when we fall short of our values.

The Medieval Christian “threat” was self defense.

What the President said was despicable, and ridiculous. Medieval Christians were, well, Medieval, while modern day Muslims remain Medieval, but let’s not go overboard with this. The Holy Land was taken by the Romans from the Jews. The Romans eventually became Christian, but did not give the land back to the Jews, in fact did all they could to drive the Jews out. The Muslims took it from the Romans, and did not give it back to the Jews. Then Muslims were taking it from each other, when the Crusaders arrived and took it, but did not give it back to the Jews, and then took the remaining Roman Empire from the Romans, which was then taken back by the Romans.

The Holy land was re-taken by the Muslims, and still was not given back to the Jews. Self defense, my (_!_).

Obama was talking about being “honest with ourselves”

Well, that would be a first for his administration.

White House deputy press secretary Eric Schultz said today Obama was talking about being “honest with ourselves” when we fall short of our values.Yeah. And he had to go back a thousand years to find an example of such.

'Course you don't have go quite so far back to invoke slavery but then you'll have to 'splain that it was Mooselimbs who were rounding up blacks to sell to the white man.

Sends a mixed message.

I just wish Christians would stop acting as if the crusades were something bad. Muslims had overrun the mideast, soustwest asia, north africa, and southern europe at the edge of a sword before Christians fought back. As it is, Christians only retook Europe.

The crusades were a response to brutal islamic expansionism.

The fact that slavery is still widespread in the muslim world today should be plenty.

If historical incidents are on the table do we get to talk about the 80 million Indians massacred by conquering Muslim hordes?

Nice, until he says “Please deal with..” No. We don’t want Obama to deal with anything. I want Obama to go golfing. He needs to go before America does anything else.

And that brings me back to something I’ve been harping on. Our politicians still don’t get how much Obama is permanently destroying America. Or they do and don’t care because they’re cashing in on it.

What was the answer to then Radical Islam?  Medievel Christianity and it was absolutely necessary.

I make no distinction about Muslims.  Peacable, indifferent, co-conspirators and vile actors.

Islam is a disease and it won't be long before the world becomes the cure.

For the so called peacable Muslims, this is their problem to clean up if they truly want to be inclusive, accepting/accepted and live in peace amongst the whole human species, occupying the same planet.

They can work toward to solving the perception and reality problems and my guys don’t have to get killed trying to attrit them and remove any global religious ambitions they have.

Hindus have about 1.5 billion adherents and they don’t mess with us or anyone else.

“Nothing” from the 500 million Buddhists either.

But, Islam has been at war with the rest of humanity for 1,400 years and I am intolerant?

How so, Murderous Hordes?

The Crusades? Christianities answer to Islam taking over the Holy Lands, Portugal and Spain.

Battle of Tours? Held Islam in check for its geographic expansion.

Queen Isabella finally, after three requests gave Christopher Columbus the money and ships to find an alternative route around The Silk Road, which was controlled by the Muslims.

In 1491 the Muslim hordes were finally removed from Europe and as a coming out party, looking for new wealth and worlds to expand the empire and trade, Chris went in search of that Alternative.

Thank God, he made a mistake and discovered America instead.

For the next 300 years, any expeditions for trade were held for ransom and the men carrying treasures, in search of revenues for their respective countries held as hostages.

Any country who sent ships into Muslim waters was taken and demand was made by the Barbary Pirates and Imams for “restitution”.

What were they willing to trade of value for anything we had of value? Nothing.

But, if you wanted to get your stuff across sea and then transported over land, you were going to pay heavily and the whole thing really was a lose/lose.

Now, on the day of inauguration for Thomas Jefferson he received a letter of demand for $1 million per year. Our men, treasures and ships would be given right of passage if the demand was met.

This demand was being given to every nation at that time.

Well, we had just smoked the worlds most powerful armed force and Jefferson was in no mood to be pushed around.

He sent a letter back saying we were coming and while the letter was in transport he directed the ships Enterprise and Constitution be built.

He sent those two ships to Tripoli, along with an Armada.

Without firing a shot Tripoli saw the wisdom of not engaging our ships and relented.

America then doesn’t hear a peep from Muslims until the Robert Kennedy assassination.

Around the time of Jimmy Carter Muslims are again on the rise, very much agitated and on the move around the world.

They overthrow the Shah of Iran and take our American Brothers and Sisters hostage.

Reagan comes into office and Iran must’ve got the message, as they released them on the same day of his inauguration.  If Joe Biden were at Reagan's side that day he would have effused "This a big F***ing Deal!"

For the last 35 years all we’ve heard is their belligerent Bull Shiite.

Over the last 15 I have heard over and over how they are “hurt” that we, the infidels, are in their lands.

Well, Deep heads. We made those lands, helped you explore, tried to set you up with modernity and you have been resisting the whole time.

What is your love affair with doing everything you can to live in the good old, the past, of 700 years ago.

Yer like the jock who sits at the bar everynight telling the same dumb story of yesteryears glory days and never living life today, in the present, so your futures will be just as bountiful Europe and North America.

Even now, I have idiot fellow Americans who think we should try to reason with them and understand them.

I don’t have any capacity to understand killers and will not waste time trying to break bread with them, while they are looking for the opportunity to break open my head.

Burning a man alive?  In the name of your Gawd?  Uhm, allah isn't a lving gawd.  It's a symbol of death, destruction and subjegation.

I make no apologies for my views. They are based on observable facts and an extraordinarily long period of religious intolerance, belligerence and outright desire to dominate the rest of us.

Watching in real time the events of the last 15 years ought to inform your conscience and reason should be the basis of your action.

Not some feigned emotion hoping the world will be any different than it currently is.

Those millions in Africa hacked to death for the glory of Allah? That’s a good thing right? Because a bunch of dead Christians is better than peace, the right of the individual to live, pursue happiness and improve the lot of their family.

Boko Haram is more important than 300 little girls?  Because robbing little girls of their pride, dignity and inner beauty make more sense than raising them to be productive citizens and good mothers.

Al Qaeda’s observed acts, stated goals and roach like existence of glorifying death and a heaven that debases women, objectifies them and turns the idea of hope of eternal life into some macabre whorehouse. That idea is worth my respect? The hell it is.

And the latest franchise of ISIL/ISIS? Hacking the heads off reporters and just recently some Japanese guys. In addition to murdering women and children because they didn’t conform to their interpretation of Islam?

Oh yeah. I feel you man.  You are beautiful people.

Christians in Iraq? Well, not anymore. The oldest churches, some nearly 2,000 years old have been destroyed.

Christians and their artifacts are now fairy tales in the so called “Cradle of Civilization”.

Islams ugly and filthy past is confronted now daily, as we are able to observe and record your evil.

We can see how little humanity exist within you as indivuals and the metastisized throngs going crazy with each vile act and singing your little ditty "allah, ackbar" over and over again.

You make nothing but misery everywhere you go.

You seek not an improvement of your economic success, which would result in better lives and children who grow up to be doctors, firemen or even businessmen.

You are wholly uninterested in celebrating others success', except that accomplishment resulting in death.

One dead, 7 dead, 3,000 dead.  You don't care, just so long as you are doing your part and murdering.

You haven't the ability to compassionate the misfortune of others because you are the instrument of calamity everywhere.

For those who can stomach watching the Jordanian man burn alive, here is a link via Pamela Geller:

http://pamelageller.com/2015/02/watch-islamic-state-video-of-pilot-being-burnt-alive-jordan-vows-revenge.html/

Islam is a disease, eventually the world needs to be the cure...
