The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) yesterday launched an effort on its website and via Facebook to have Emily Miller, chief investigative reporter for WTTG, the Washington, D.C. Fox News affiliate, fired from her job for appearing at a gun rights rally several days ago in Virginia.
CSGV said today on its Facebook page that more than 3,000 people have signed an on-line petition demanding that WTTG general manager Patrick Paolini pull the plug on Miller, who authored “Emily Gets Her Gun…But Obama Wants to Take Yours.” The book was a blistering account of Miller’s efforts to get a permit to legally keep a handgun in her home in the District of Columbia.

Too cute. We need her on TV.
As soon as they get rid of all those biased idiots in ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, MSNBC, the NYT, the Boston Globe, LA Times, USA today, and the sub cretins currently masquerading as reporters for the White House.
So I guess this is:
1. Their idea of NOT having a war on women.
2. An example of how interested they are in having the “discussion about guns” that they always claim they want.
3. Another amendment they don’t like.
The leftists got Sharyl Attkisson and now they want Emily Miller, the Fox affiliate had better not cave.
So they are against the First Amendment as well as the Second.
It’s ‘banglist,’ not ‘bang.’

Whatever your position on gun control, she was a good honest newspaper reporter. To go through the DC buying process, and to accurately document in serial fashion, over several months, everything she experienced is CLASSIC journalism.

The comments on their own facebook page are running mostly in support of Emily.
The most pleasurable smells in the world are female pheromones and gunpowder. Of course Emily and the SIG SAUER two tone P-229 take first and second place for beauty.
