Sounds like a form of arbitration.

All this is...is a few muzzies saying they don’t want to go to US courts.

It’s no different, at the moment than church members coming before the pastor to resolve an issue.
As long as it stays at this level, it’s fine.

They’re practicing law without a license or state approval.
Texas has been aggressive about shutting this down in the past.
They should do so now. The intent here is to start small and then expand it until it’s a fait accompli, and “too big to shut down”.

My initial sentiments -- but then I realize that it is not intended to 'stay at this level'. It is a typical maneuver of the islamics. Establish a small beachhead, and then expand. Islam is not a religion, it is a political predator. It would be best to ban the practice from our shores before the beachhead is established.

But it won’t, and everyone with one eye and a grain of sense knows it. It will creep to include criminal matters that the Muzzies will want to have control over, too.

Naivety at the highest level - Sharia Law is about forming a shadow government.

This is a step towards an act of sovereignty and Americans simply do not have the strength to form an effective resistance. Lord what a disgusting demographic Americans have become; i.e. any little group of Third World imbeciles can push us around at will.

First they ask for equal treatment, then they'll ask for legal recognition by other legal bodies, then they'll ask it'll be the law of the land.
For everybody.

Does that mean a head-chopper can be found not-guilty by this islamic tribunal and escape US criminal justice via the Double-Jeopardy Clause?
Don't laugh, Barack Hussein Obama might just agree.

We once were a nation of laws, before Mexican loyalists and Islamists began colonizing this settled nation.

If they establish their own voluntary “legal” system, perhaps they can use this to deny same sex marriage ceremonies.
It’s a “muslim wedding” not an “american wedding”.
