Yep, and the GOPE would help fund Hillary nasty-grams against Palin.

I would prefer to see Palin in a cabinet position. I just think the media would just drag her down with negative ad’s, news, putting doubt out there for folks of her winability.

Walker/Cruz is what I am hoping for, but then again I think the GOPE will out fund them and go with Bush/Romney (Pres/VP)

I really like Marsha Blackburn, would love to see her as a candidate as well.

Yes, I think this could be a fishing excersise. Not necessarily monetarily, but seeing who in the corridors of power, would be willing to support her.

Her time may just have come and gone. She should have challenged Romney. This time the man of the moment is Ted Cruz.

I think she will make a wonderful support actor, but we all need to coalesce around one candidate, now. No flavor-of-the-weeks like 2008. It would be disastrous if both Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin were to run against one another. The last thing we need, after the past two terms, is a milquetoast like MittJebChris...

It's time for slash-and-burn.

“The only thing that diminishes my confidence in Sarah Palin is that she says she’s seriously interested in 2016. That’s a big letdown. This is not anything to be seriously interested in. If you’re not in it, NOW, then you’re never going to get it in and that tells me she’s NOT interested and won’t join the campaign.”

With respect — that’s just nonsense.

Hillary Clinton said the exact same words recently.

A political unknown (as Palin was 6 years ago) needs to get in early, to build up name recognition. I doubt that there are any likely voters in the USA, who haven’t heard of Palin.

Timing is an important part of strategy (any strategy, for doing anything) — and Palin is a strategic player. She’ll announce her intentions (one way or another) at the most opportune time. That’s the sort of thing winners do.

I have my doubts that Hillary will run, and bigger doubts she will be the nominee if she does. But of course there's hardly anyone else ready to jump in on the RAT side, so it's not as important to for her to get in early.

A political unknown (as Palin was 6 years ago) needs to get in early, to build up name recognition. I doubt that there are any likely voters in the USA, who haven’t heard of Palin.

The reason she needs to get in early is to get potential donors and staff before they commit to others, and to build a national organization to ensure she is on the ballot in all the primaries.

Timing is an important part of strategy (any strategy, for doing anything) — and Palin is a strategic player. She’ll announce her intentions (one way or another) at the most opportune time.

Last time she waited until a month after she had said herself she needed to announce, just to announce she wasn't running. That helped prevent conservatives from rallying to a single candidate, and ended up helping Romney. I see no evidence that she is some kind of strategic genius.

If she really wants it, she needs to set up an exploratory committee now, and announce early. If she does I would probably support her. But no more "maybe I'm in, maybe I'm out" crap.
