Palin says she’s ‘seriously interested’ in 2016 campaign
Washington Post ^ | January 24, 2015 | Robert Cosa

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin told The Washington Post in an interview Friday that she is “seriously interested” in running for the White House in 2016.

“You can absolutely say that I am seriously interested,” Palin said, when asked to clarify her thinking about a possible presidential bid.

Palin, the GOP’s 2008 vice-presidential nominee, said she stood by comments she made Thursday in Las Vegas to ABC News, where she first expressed enthusiasm about potentially competing for the Republican presidential nomination.

As I commented a bit earlier in my Blogger post, Hillary will not get the nomination, that some one will come along and usurp that what she doesn't deserve to get in the first place. Hillary, I know Barry Soetero, and YOU are no Barry Soetero. (In terms of the political circumstances that allowed him to win, you just don't got it.They will not make it happen for you.)

The only thing that diminishes my confidence in Sarah Palin is that she says she's seriously interested in 2016. That's a big letdown. This is not anything to be seriously interested in. If you're not in it, NOW, then you're never going to get it in and that tells me she's NOT interested and won't join the campaign.

Then say hello to Jeb. Six conservatives will neutralize the conservative vote in the primaries and the “moderate” will be the nominee as happened in 2008 and 2012. The result was the Obama catastrophe.

Maybe she seriously has to see if Ted Cruz goes in because your asking for a wild situation if Palin and Cruz both run along with Walker and Ben Carson and Rick Perry.

How long till she "clarifies" the "clarification" ?

I think Palin is seriously thinking about the campaign and she will join it.

But not as a candidate. She will be an advocate for the best conservative candidate.

She won’t run because she won’t subject her family to what running would entail.

Palin would make a good EPA secretary. She could phase them out.

You mean you weren't looking forward to the 23rd article post on "Sarah Palin being interested in a 2016 run"?

Or is it up to 24 articles now? LOL! :)

Too bad the FR search function is broke, well, that, and searching "palin" is like searching "smith", or "jones"...

How about Secretary of State where she could shuffle off the sorority that runs that place now.

Now that is a really good idea...and what a great effect she could have on the USA! I think POTUS is out of reach because the rats have been so effective in painting her as a quitter, an idiot, etc. I'd vote for her without hesitation but there are lots of GOPs who think she is beneath them - foolish snobs that they are.

I never thought Palin wanted to be President. However why would she say she is “seriously interested” if she isn’t? Perhaps to see if donors start knocking down her door? Don’t know. But a contest between Hillary and Palin would be quite striking and revealing. However Palin would first have to get past the Republican establishment and RINOs. She would exhaust lots of money in primaries while Hillary would raise and maintain enormous sums of money.

She would raise hell in the EPA and wouldn’t flinch. She would do a great job.
