Israel does not have the capability to deliver enough ordinance via air to qualify as "carpet bombing". Those strikes will be precision hits.
But they DO have sufficient artillery to meet that threshold.

TO #14: Israel does not have the aircraft needed to carry out “carpet bombing”. Fighter bombers cannot do it on any large scale (i.e. covering large areas). There are no B-1 or B-2’s in the Israeli Air Force, not even B-52’s, B-29’s or even an old B-26.
Don’t know if napalm is still in their inventory but it should be. The best weapon short of an atomic bomb for taking out mountain/hill and valley positions and forces.
Cheap, efficient, covers a massive area esp. if used in a double drop with the nap merging in the center of the area, and scares the shit out of anyone sane. Jihadist military garb, as such, would make great human glow sticks.
