Not I, said the cat.
Conservative reformer.
THE MAN JAMES CARVILLE FEARS THE MOST.........*smiles*
Do I even have to say it?
lol. If he were libertarian, I would not support him
Barak Obama: Muslim Jihadist or Communist Agitator?
He reminds a lot of James Wilson, for some reason.
I wouldn’t worry too much about what Glenn thinks.
Ted is not “Libertarian” in the mode of Ran Paul.
Mostly, Ted is a God fearing Constitutionalist, who knows how to fight and will kick Jeb’s butt in any debate.
If the libertarian tag sticks, I’m buying popcorn!
“Many people still get jolted when a candidate calls not to reform or rein in the IRS but to abolish it.” IOW, he’s too “progressive” for moderates and progressives, wanting to tear down icons, as he does.
Cruz is not my cup of tea, stylistically," says veteran political operative Roger Stone, who has worked with both the Republican and Libertarian parties. "But he's very smart-legally smart and politically smart. And the guy's got brass balls."
Nom nom nom nom thanks!
One of the most objective Cruz articles I’ve seen.
Ted Cruz is the real deal! He is the most erudite, yet measured, U.S. Senator in ages. (I personally think he’s in the same category as Daniel Webster!) Mike Lee is by far and away the second best U.S. Senator, but still a ways behind Ted Cruz. (That’s not meant to be a criticism, just an observation.) Until last night, I had put Rand Paul, warts and all, as the third best U.S. Senator. But, his stock tanked with me when I read his comments about judicial activism—giving more power to the federal judiciary is the LAST THING we need. Jeff Sessions and James Inhofe are extremely good as well. I honestly cannot say I trust any other U.S. Senator. But, as I’ve said here before, I’d follow Ted Cruz to hell and back. I hope Republicans vying for the 2016 Republican nomination do not take Alan Dershowitz’s advice and truly underestimate Ted Cruz. In the process, I have no doubt that Ted Cruz will use his incredible intellect and world-class debating skills to win both the nomination and ultimately “Cruz” (pun intended) to the presidency. When there’s a vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court, I hope he nominates Paul Clement to the post. If there are more vacancies, I have no doubt that he’ll appoint equally qualified and impressive (compared to Paul Clement) justices on the U.S. Supreme Court. After he serves eight years as president, I hope he pulls a William Howard Taft and becomes a justice. (Though, as much as I’d like to see Roberts off the Court when there’s a Republican president, I doubt there’ll be a vacancy in the Chief Justice’s chair any time in Ted Cruz’s viable lifetime.) In Cruz I Trust!!/rwa
i’d per
Libertarian? Wishful thinking by Reason. Cruz is a Bible-believing Christian and won’t support Liberaltarian idiocy regarding abortion, homosexual marriage and drugs.
"No filibusters on the Senate floor to hold the federal budget hostage to the repeal of Obamacare;..."
Bad, bad filibusters from Ted Cruz. Shame on you Ted Cruz. Naughty, naughty boy. This sort of nonsense from the MSM is becoming very tiresome.
One wonders what the MSM and even Reason Mag will think when we see a torrent of filibusters coming from the Dems over the next two years while they attempt to save the Obama "legacy" or at least what little is left of it.
I suspect we will just be asked to look the other way.
Ted Cruz is the only elected official that I voted for who I do not worry about. He always seems to do the right thing. I am glad I got the chance to vote for him.
A decent, truthful and committed real American. Corrupt politicians would not only hate such they would not even understand a person of integrity.
Based on what I know of him so far, I like him. But whether or not I’ll vote for him in the election partly depends upon who’s running against him. Might end up liking somebody else more, who knows?
Cruz isn’t a Libtardian! Other than that in the headline, I agree with much of it.
Let’s try Savior of American Sanity. Put a halo around his head on the cover of Time Magazine and make it a crime for libtards to besmirch his name.
At least we could get the pendulum of sanity half way back.
