CARTOONIST Larry Pickering is reportedly under police protective surveillance after upsetting people with a derogatory picture of the prophet Mohammed on his controversial website.
MR Pickering was told of the development when visited at home by detectives from Queensland Police on Sunday. The cartoonist said the officers told him he had upset a lot of people and they were putting him under high-priority protective surveillance.
"I guess they must have picked up some intelligence or chatter after I did the cartoon," he told News Corp Australia.
Mr Pickering is a controversial figure who was singled out for special criticism by former prime minister Julia Gillard in 2012 over "repulsive" depictions of her on his "vile and sexist" website.
Mr Pickering says he is just standing up for free speech.

Is the ISIS script being written by the Mossad? I can’t imagine an antagonist better able to solidify a global realization that Islam is an utter insanity incapable of operating to its own benefit. Its practitioners should be admitted to the psych ward and fed therapeutic dosages of Prozac like Strassbourg geese. They think they have the numbers in Europe and elsewhere. They don’t. They think they are immune to mass deportations. They aren’t. If they don’t come up with another 9/11 event, then the CIA sure as ding dong Cain, will.

I assume that’s the one, yes. It’s not being described in the articles I’ve seen and certainly not being republished in them, so it’s hard to know for certain.
It is never controversial or offensive when leftists do this to Christians....
