First Lady Michelle Obama named the new Executive Director of Let’s Move on Thursday, Debra Eschmeyer, a self-described “food justice” activist who believes that all aspects of food production and consumption should be “shared fairly.”

Eschmeyer, who grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio and is now an organic vegetable farmer, previously campaigned for “school lunch reform” and has been involved in anti-obesity and school gardening initiatives.

"No justice, no peas!" So, is moochie getting to appoint people to "positions" because the lyin' king is too busy golfing? When will the department of food justice start issuing rules and regs that carry penalties just like the were actually laws?

Who is paying the salary of these unelected, unconfirmed, out of control statist freaks?

If “food justice” is anything like “social justice”, then the interference in what we eat, where we get it, how much we can get, how we prepare/eat it, and especially what we pay for food will be the usual Progressive clusterfark. Next thing you know, food purchases will be monitored on our tax returns, too.

Let's focus on the Khmer Rouge's "fields" more than the "killing" for now.

So free breakfast and lunch at school PLUS foodstamps isn’t enough for those in our society who are too stupid, lazy, or ignorant to feed themselves?

Where does she get the money to pay for a “Let’s Move” staff?

When she leaves, does “Let’s Move” go away, too?

A quote from the article:

Eschmeyer said in another interview in July 2010 she is an avid reader of “Obama FoodoRama,” the “blog of record about White House food initiatives” that was saddened when the First Lady’s garden was left to the squirrels during the government shutdown. The blog is no longer available to the public but for “invited readers” only.

I didn't realize how heavily the shut down had hurt even the WH demonstration garden, haha. This makes it clear that WH gardeners did all the work, and Michelle only showed up for photo ops, as if there were ever any doubt.

As to the rest of this person's shtick, it's just another complain-o-rama. Better food, higher wages, etc.

And, last but not least, I note that the WH food blog must have been so poorly received that it's now by invitation only. It's no wonder Obama has no time left for serious governing.

The squirrels invaded the garden and the nuts invaded the blog.

LOL! Reminds me of when my friend used to go on a diet and put everyone around her on a diet as well. I used to hate to see her during her diet days because I knew I would be analyzed. Everywhere we went EVERYONE we saw got my friend’s weight and exercise examination (behind their backs).

All I can say is BUZZ OFF and mind your own business. It is fine to give generalized tips that people can freely take or leave. It is this food enforcement garbage that has to stop.

I think that all the time. obammy could keel over tomorrow.

The lasting damage he’s done will remain in the bureaucratic
bowels of the government for a long time. They were placed there to destroy and plunder for as long as possible.

“Debra Eschmeyer, a self-described “food justice” activist who believes that all aspects of food production and consumption should be “shared fairly.” “

She and the rest of the commie bastards can have their ‘share’ of the food after those that paid for it are finished with it. They cry for ‘free $hit’, well help yourself!

Hugh Hewitt does not have a lot of friends on FR. But he used to work for the Office of Personnel Management, and he has pointed out many times on his show that under the rules as they currently exist, it is virtually impossible to terminate a Federal employee.

So yes, we are going to be dealing with this for a LOOOOOONG time.
