Author Steven Baxter wrote a follow on to the “ Time Machine” which I thought was great. He picks up the story with him going back to be with Weena! Great book!

RE:”Enjoyed his work, especially in “The Time Machine.” RIP.”

Saw that the first time on TV was I was a young kid long before Impy was born(late 1960s??) , it was made a while before that in 1960. Did you see that one Impy?

Another classic with great actors of the time.

The way he stops in time at same place a few times as we watch the world change over and over from that same spot, the nuke war blowing it all up.

I know our favority gunny likes it.

Check out “Dark of the Sun” about mercenaries in Africa. Great show, Rod Taylor is great and, as an added attraction, it has Yvette Mimeux.

RIP..great actor. Loved him in “The Time Machine”, and “The Birds”..one of his early performances was as Liz Taylor’s boyfriend in “Giant”. I also remember him on”Murder She Wrote”..they don’t make them like him anymore, that’s for sure!!

He was also the voice of Pongo in 101 Dalmations and starred in a TV show, “The Bearcats.” A very fine actor indeed.

Here’s some irony for you all. Rod Taylor dies on Yvette Mimeaux’s 73rd birthday.

That was his defining role.

I didn't know he was Australian.

Rod Taylor was great. He always seemed like someone who I would want to meet and have a beer with.

I was just watching “The Time Machine” last weekend and thinking, “This guy is still alive.”

He was one of my favorites.

Last night, I was watching Sunday in the Park, which I had recorded, and, wondering whether Rod Taylor was still alive, I googled him and was pleased that he was still alive and well...that was last night.

I remember him from “The Birds” and his cameo as Winston Churchill in “Imglourious Basterds”.

RIP.

I first saw “The Time Machine” on a VHS in 1996. I have fond memories of the movie, because I have since lost the one with whom I shared that wonderful evening with.
