One of the suspects in the Paris attack on Charlie Hebdo magazine has been killed and the two others are in custody, a two senior U.S. counterterrorism officials told NBC News.

Authorities identified the three men as Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, both French and in their early 30s, and 18-year-old Hamyd Mourad, whose nationality wasn't immediately clear.

One of the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to publicly discuss the investigation, told The Associated Press that the men were linked to a Yemeni terrorist network. And Cherif Kouachi was convicted in 2008 of terrorism charges for helping funnel fighters to Iraq's insurgency and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

after the 911 call, the first response of the Paris police was 3 unarmed officers on bicycles.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2901191/They-shouted-names-fired-Minute-minute-horror-unfolded-magazine-newsroom.html

EU membership requires abolition of the death penalty, so none of the blood curdling methods of execution suggested above will ever happen http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/human_rights/human_rights_in_third_countries/r10106_en.htm

The French had him in jail and released him.

What a stupid thing for them to do.

Good thing we are smarter than that here in the USA.

You know 0 is sweating bullets every time something like this happens hoping that THIS terrorist killer isn't one 0 released from Gitmo....one day it will be.

I’ll remember one feature of this event.

When watching the news on both CNN and AlJezerra, both were reporting nobody knew who the suspects were, nor where they went. Nobody had claimed the attacks and the attackers had shouted Allah had been avenged! They didn’t want to jump to conclusions and associate the murders with extremist Muslim terrorism. They emphasized these people couldn’t be Muslims.

They then proceeded to announce the largest threat to the public was,...Islamophobia. (The idea of armed terrorist extremists running around murdering people without being located didn’t qualify as a public threat in their intellect. /s)

From 1848 - 1962, the whole Mediterranean region of Algeria was administered as an integral part of France, like Corsica is to this day. They called it "France Overseas." When France invaded and occupied Algeria, they went in with the "inclusive" and "democratic" notion that, since all men are equal, all men have an equal right to be Frenchmen.

Not all the Algerians were enthused. It took an 8-year, bloody war to get the French out of Algeria.

Tioga, I meant to ping you to this:

#106.

It's entirely possible not only that these Algerians are French, but that their fathers, grandfathers, and great-grands all the way back to the 1830's were "French" as well.

Do it with pig fat and then use it in public with every MSM camera recording it. And even on the dead bastard.

De facto-—not declaration of Martial Law.

And the people in the area involved were pleased with the way things were handled so what’s the problem ??

The bottom line is that no one there was hurt.

Just checked in on CNN, since they destroy Fox when it comes to international stuff - Cooper is in Paris saying the youngest surrendered and the brothers are still at-large.

Legend has it that Gen. John “Black Jack” Pershing would have dead Moro Islamic rebels buried with pig guts, while a surviving rebel watched. The survivor was released, to return to his comrades, and relay what he had seen.

I hope that it was true, but have never been able to corroborate the legend. None the less, to borrow a quote from Col. Oliver North, it is a “neat idea”.

That’s a pretty good example of what separates the Libertarians and the Liberaltarians from conservatives.

Ron Paul can go eff himself.

The only bad foreign policy we have when it comes to these Islamofascist cowards is that of not brutally killing so many of them that they are all of them (and yes, I’m talking to you, you “moderates”) so afraid of announcing their religion that they are in deep hiding.

That is the only way to deal with demonic murderrs.

Fox has the pictures of 2 of the suspects, they don’t still seem to be saying they are in custody and one dead. So what’s going on??
