The body of a three-week-old infant who was abducted from a Long Beach, Calif. home during a shooting was found in a suburban San Diego shopping center late Sunday.
Long Beach police confirmed that Eliza Delacruz was found in a bag inside a dumpster behind a pizza shop in Imperial Beach. They had joined the San Diego County Sheriff's Department in investigating the baby's identity shortly after it was discovered. The exact cause of her death was not immediately disclosed.
Eliza had been missing since late Saturday when her parents and uncle were shot in a home on the north side of Long Beach. Two victims remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition Sunday. The other was treated and released.

They probably took the baby as a hostage and dumped it once they got close to the border where they thought they no longer needed it.
The police said there was no evidence of a break in so whoever did this knew the family..what doesn’t make sense to me is this..if they wanted the family members dead they could have done it, yet they all survived..and to take the baby, the innocent 3 week old baby just to dump her body in San Diego makes no sense..so sad..such a beautiful little baby girl..taken for the soul purpose just to kill her..find the bastard who did it and hang him

If not for the man scavenging for recyclables in that dumpster the tiny baby’s body probably would have gone to the landfill and never would have been found.

That has a real bravado tune to it, but I’d bet a cup of coffee the bad guy left the country on the well worn path to Mehico...If a suspect is ever caught down there, we’ll have to bribe them with cash and promises to try him the way they see fit. On and on...
This makes no sense. Why would he abduct a baby, shooting the parents and uncle, only to allow it or cause it to die?
Thankfully, two of the victims survived increasing the possibility that the creep behind this may be caught.
Three survived. The parents and the uncle. If I read that right.
A statement added that authorities are seeking an adult male, though no other identifying information was included....
Of course this always means it's a someone 'other than white'. If it were a Caucasian suspect they would have led with it and mentioned it three more times in the report.
Payback, revenge, owed debts, etc...Take your pick. Motives vary but generally fall under Money, debt, someone banging someone they shouldn’t, gang stuff/drugs, betrayal....

I would suspect they were all Caucasians (although Hispanic, which refers to their origin from a Spanish speaking culture and not to their race) and that drugs were involved. The drug gangs are merciless and for them, killing women and children is something to boast about because it shows how fearsome and evil they are. If we enforced the law here and simply put people like this to death when we caught them, life would be much nicer.
They could and should repent. And, strangely enough, a someone I know in that world says that at the last moment, Hispanics will often confess and ask for forgiveness and even say they want to die because of what they have done. I am sure God will forgive them, but there still needs to be a law that brings them to the point of asking forgiveness.
A priest once told me that many souls were saved because of the death penalty. That is, they suddenly realized the gravity of their actions and the harm they had done; but in a culture like ours, which regards everything as relative and excusable, they never get that opportunity.
