Jeb Bush: Gay Marriage Should Be State Decision, but ‘Courts Overturned It, I Guess’
Mediaite ^ | January 5, 2014 | Evan McMurry

Twenty-four hours in advance of a court deadline ordering clerks in at least one county to issue same-sex marriage licenses, former Sunshine State Governor and putative 2016 GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush shrugged his shoulders at the decision.

“It ought be a local decision. I mean, a state decision,” Bush told the Miami Herald. “The state decided. The people of the state decided. But it’s been overturned by the courts, I guess.”

Jeb Bush picks Greenwich as springboard for potential White House bid
Posted on January 4, 2015 | By Neil Vigdor

Jeb Bush’s flirtation with running for president in 2016 will take the former Florida governor to the familiar and lush stomping grounds of the Bush political clan: Greenwich.

The Republican will raise money for his newly-created leadership PAC at a reception Wednesday in the hometown of his father, former President George H.W. Bush.

Proof that not all of Greenwich winters in Florida, a popular tax-Haven for Connecticut residents, Bush will be hosted by an assemblage of relatives and political allies with ties to his father and brother.

The private reception is being organized by Craig and Debbie Walker Stapleton — he was U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic and then France under former President George W. Bush and she is a Bush cousin.

The host committee also includes Richard Breeden, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission during the first Bush presidency, and David McCormick, a former Treasury under secretary during the second Bush presidency who is president of Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund.

I frigging guess, oh yay how the Bush women will be happy.

The homostapo can’t overturn the states constitution so they go county to county looking for their activists to dilute our state constitution and then they can argue how one can be “married” in say Flagler county but as soon as they come to my county next to it in St Johns they are no longer married and the sheep will just go along with their crap.

Screw them they are not married not ever will be and will and have been told off me.

Thanks for the strong defense of Marriage, The Family and Traditional Values.

But I understand...that’s yucky social conservative stuff. No room for that at the Chamber of Commerce.

He should have said, “Homosexual marriage is morally wrong, and, I will do what I can to overturn it.”

Same as Terri Schiavo.

I should have saved Terri Schiavo, but the courts said I couldn’t...I guess.

If you had any decency you’d get out there and help ensure this pillar of conservatism ascended to his rightful throne, granted by virtue of his birth.

But you don’t. You bitterly cling to the lunatic ravings of 200 year dead war criminals. Thats what you want? You want to associate with that?

This is 2015 SJB. I think it’s time you put on the big boy pants and took of the childish tricorn. Conservatism is Amnesty. Freedom is Common Core and euthanasia forever and ever, Amen (a non denominational Amen so as not to offend our moderate no religious allies in the big tent.)

It's not a "state decision." It was a God decision, at the very beginning of the creation. Americans can either line themselves up with that decision and be blessed, or violate it and be cursed. Period.

Matthew 19

4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

[ Jeb Bush: Gay Marriage Should Be State Decision, but ‘Courts Overturned It, I Guess’ ]

George W was the smarter well meaning Buish who just happened to look like a moron....

Jeb is his brother that was blessede with looks but not any smarts....

Jeb is a “media darling” for the moment because the media knows how monumentally stuipid/useful he will be if he gets into office, he will be used as tool by the media to reinforce their favorite memes they used for 8 years on Bush.
