Why is it that virtually EVERYBODY thinks that “if” there are “Space Aliens”, “ET’s” or some kind of “Space Travelers”, they would have some superior intelligence relative to us ?
Mostly because we haven’t figured out yet how to travel long distances through space, and if ‘they’ have, they must be at least technologically more advanced than us.
Because they're "Space Travelers" and we're not?
Logic: they would have to have advanced science and technology at minimum that necessary for space travel...
Have you been to Walmart lately? Or paid attention to Congress? Beings from outer space HAVE to be smarter than us.
“Why is it that virtually EVERYBODY thinks that if there are Space Aliens, ETs or some kind of Space Travelers, they would have some superior intelligence relative to us ?”
Just two reasons,
1.They figured out how to get here.
2.They are smart enough not to have anything to do with us.
Why is it that virtually EVERYBODY thinks that if there are Space Aliens, ETs or some kind of Space Travelers, they would have some superior intelligence relative to us ?
Let’s see.
They traveled light years to our world.
They mutilate cattle.
They make funny patterns in crops.
They stick things up peoples butts.
Yeah, they’re freakin brilliant!
“Why is it that virtually EVERYBODY thinks that if there are Space Aliens, ETs or some kind of Space Travelers, they would have some superior intelligence relative to us ?”
Because they managed to get here from a LONG ways away, while we’ve not figured out how to move ourselves beyond our moon, which is only about 10 earth-circumferences away, and we can’t even get back there today.
Uh, because if they are from somewhere else and they were able to get here, and we don’t know how to get there, they would have to be.
Look, if there are extra-terrestrials visiting us, they would have to come from outside the Solar System. Based on all we know intelligent life is unlikely anywhere else in this solar system. (Based on the last two presidential elections, I’m not too sure it exists here! )
The nearest other star to the sun is Proxima Centauri 4.24 light years from us.
It takes light, traveling at 186,000 feet per second 4.24 years to get there. And based on what we know of Proxima Centauri, it’s unlikely any planets like earth are orbiting it.
Which means those extraterrestrials are coming from a star system a whole lot further away.
If they are doing this, they must be using a propulsion system very different from anything we have as yet or have even conceived. They could be using things like wormholes, gravity waves, who knows what?
So they would have to be a lot smarter than us technologically and scientifically.
Because of questions like yours.
I would guess it's because they would have traveled from planets outside our solar system or even our galaxy.
If they have the ability to traverse space, than it’s reasonable to assume that they are smarter than us.
Also phrases like, “ Hey hold may beer” is not usually said by somebody who is about to tie all the laws of physics into a tiny equation.
If “they” are sooooooo smart, then why do they travel billions of light years to come here, hide, peek around for a few minutes...
and just leave.
Doesn’t sound very smart to me.
Because if they exists they got here... and we didn't get there...
Because they know that the only means we have of communicating with them is via Babble Fish translations......
It is intuitively obvious to even the most casual observer that humans are pretty stupid. Just look at current events or our history.
Besides, we think it is impossible to travel interstellar distances. Yet, here they are! They must know or understand something that we think is impossible.
