Almost 1,000 migrants arrived in Italy on a cargo ship on Wednesday after apparently being abandoned by its crew in the Adriatic Sea, the Italian Red Cross said.
The mainly Syrian migrants were bundled off the Blue Sky M when it arrived in Italy in the early hours of the morning after it was first spotted near the coast of Corfu.

Bingo. You win. I read that novel back in college in the 70’s and thought it a remote possibility...which has become incredibly prescient. I tried to explain to people what it meant and what’s going on, but the vast majority don’t believe it or as dumb as a bag of hammers. No wonder cultures and empires collapse, lack of will and guts to maintain them, no matter what the cost, moral or otherwise. If you don’t believe what you have is valuable (freedom on all fronts) and worth fighting for, then when someone takes it from you, why should you be surprised? What passes for education these days, along with enemies of the West in the media, arts and education (let alone politics) its no wonder. There are those of us who are willing to fight, and die for it, though. It is only a matter of time. Whether we win or not, is the unanswerable question.
1000 refugees is a drop in the bucket for Italy.

Most of them move to other countries. They love England, with its liberal benefits and large population of Muslims.
Italy has to start sending them back. They get the brunt of it because their country sticks out into the Mediterranean, and because they are kindhearted people. What are you gonna do? Leave them out on the boat to die? But they have to find a way of sending them back humanely.
Exactly. Those places aren’t what they are because of climate or geography, otherwise South Africa would have remained a First World nation when the black majority took power.
If there were a stable Libya, instead of chaos and the weapons used to destroy it then getting to crazies to destroy Syria, the problem would have a solution. First because refugees wouldn't be leaving those two countries for Italy. Secondly because Syria and Libya as they used to be would be countries that could've absorbed refugees from other countries.
I do not understand the deliberate destruction of western civilization with the blessing of and being enabled by the forces that should be supporting us. It's like every conspiracy theory from the past 20 or so years is true.
Very true. I noticed a blogger on another website brought up this point. None of these third world countries are particularly amenable to others in their country. No diversity for them. I listen to that type of dreamy eyed multi-culturalists with dismay. There is no rhyme or reason considering the ramifications of these incursions.
I remember the crackdown in Czechoslovak on the Roma. They were fed to the teeth with their excursions. 40 of them came to Canada claiming refugee status from this democratic state. It had been found out that their culture is simply to steal. A way of life. A mall where I worked, had special emergency information to beware of travelling Roma.
A leftist do good lady arguing for the 40 claimants said, it would "add an exciting mix" to the existing culture.
If Europe is to survive, this must stop. Political correctness is putting lives in danger. Then should be given a hot meal and then sent back where they came from.
