There are certainly an increasing number of people in my social circle who have a decreasing respect for the law, especially tax law. When they see the government no complying with their own rules, ignoring illegal immigrants for instance, they have an excuse to pick and choose which ones they comply with.

school leaders “could hear a steady ‘thump’ as the students discarded the food in the trash

I couldn't laugh any harder without falling down!

Let the punks starve if they don’t want to eat what is in front of them. It’s school it’s not freakin’ Burger King. I mean honestly, complaining about fresh fruits and vegetables? Oh the humanity! They can’t eat a Frito chip pie? Tough crap! Have your Mom pack you a lunch if you don’t like it.

Such old school bravado, but that is not the reality anymore.

Without getting into the homeschooling debate, most, if not all school districts prohibit lunches from home.

So the kids are presented with this slop.

The amount of food provided is no where near adequate for teenagers either.

I’m aware of what you’re saying, and I agree that’s it’s an outrage. However, what are they going to do frisk you? They can’t “ban” what they don’t see you eat. So go eat it on the john if you have to. I realize it seems like an extreme response, but tyranny MUST be met with defiance. There’s just no other way.

Man, I would make a killing on bootleg food in a school now. I am dead serious.

I agree.

Until citizens rise up against the tyranny, this will continue.

Eating in private is an option, but it only serves to teach the children to be deceitful.

Teach them that open, civil disobedience to tyranny is essential to retaining, regaining and maintaining freedom.

Happy New Year.
