They were all made good in God’s image. If they detect any flaw, foible or hypocrisy in us, it drives them away from the Truth.

We conservatives always knew it, but 2014 was the year when the rest of America began to understand. And 2014 was the year that Americans had to choose sides

Bull shi'ite.

According to the United States Election Project, in 2012, the total ballots counted in this country was about 129 million. In this latest election--81.6 million. 2010 saw 89 million vs. 2008's 131 million.

This is not a new phenomenon, particularly to those of us on FR. The POTUS election years bring out the so-called LIVs, the "gibsmedats," and the typically better informed folks show up in the congressional election cycles. This trend does not show in any way that "America is waking up" or siding with conservatives. It just means that rock-stupid voters, as much as we like to sneer at them, are a reality and will continue to be influential in presidential election cycles.

2016 may turn out OK for conservatives, but it'll be tight.

Liberal lies come with a half-life marker:

“Half-life means that, if you have 100 pounds of Liberal BS, in 24,110 years, you’d still have 50 pounds left. In another 24,110 years, you’d still have 25 pounds left of Liberal BS.”

:)

My own TAGLINE is shorter, truer and more to the point than the one you “wrote” in your post.
Not only that, the NY Slimes virtually daily confirm the truth of mine.
The only change I’ve ever considered is as follows:
“We print the news IF it fits our views”
either way it works fine.

The problem for liberalism is two-fold.

As the author points out, one of the problems is that the lies that were told, from “shovel-ready” stimulus, to Obamacare, to racial fear-mongering, to foreign policy, etc., have indeed been exposed as lies. The other problem for the left is that the policies themselves have failed, something which the people feel and see in their everyday lives, no reporting necessary.

Liberal lies have been exposed, but this only exposes the purveyors of liberalism. More importantly liberalism itself has been proven to be a disaster, in every way, for the people.

Barack Obama and liberal policies have literally killed the Democratic Party, and for the reason the author states above, I don’t believe the suck-up media can save it.

Theodore Roosevelt famously said, “It is not the critic who counts . . . the credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena . . .” But Grubercrats (journalists, and politicians who go along and get along with journalists) are critics, not doers, and they are determined that critics rather than doers shall have the credit.

The opposite of “the credit belongs to the man . . . in the arena” is, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that.” But the reality is that the owner of a business continually works to build it - or else sees the business decline and, sooner rather than later, fail.

“The critic” readily faults the failures of the businessman’s foresight, but the critic operates on hindsight and thus his analysis is of less value than even the imperfect vision of the entrepreneur. The cynicism of the critic only irritates the strong, but it incapacitates the weak. The child who is told he doesn’t have a chance because of racism is being weakened and marginalized by ”the soft bigotry of low expectations."

Without the citizen journalists working in conservative new media, would we have ever seen Obamacare’s architect on video laughing at the giant scam he and the Democrats pulled on the American people?

That's true, but the real story (not yet covered by the citizen journalists) is just how many Grubers there are in the Federal government, and just how much their "research" limits, constrains, and even govern what Congress may and may not do.

The mainstream media didn’t tell you the truth about these cop-hating marches; it was the new media and citizen journalists. Those of us who have been around these peace/social justice/anti-police/whatever rallies over the years know that they are full of scumbags and losers, with commies of every stripe calling for the destruction of America and death to Israel. You never – ever – see that in the mainstream media; all you hear is talk of generic “activists” and carefully selected photos that never include the creeps with signs calling for “Socialist Revolution Now” or “Kill the Pigs.” It’s lying by omission, and it’s a conscious choice.

Kurt Schlichter's one to watch... he's totally getting it...
