WHat is a ‘ Dummy Texting Service...’?...........
Apparently it’s a service people can use that makes it look like they are getting a text from someone else. So if you’re trying to make a guy jealous or stalk a guy, use the ‘dummy texting service’ and nobody will know where it originated.
Jackie sounds bi-polar, at the very least.
While I try to stay current with big media stories, there is a part of my brain, when I read the words “More Bad News for Rolling Stone”, thought to myself, “Ut-oh. What has Keith Richards done now.” LOL

This is common in todays dating scene for the young and trendy. Hell, in the ‘life’ scene. There are now entire companies dedicated to being PR departments for anyone with cash, no matter how trivial their wants.
It’s the result of the MTV and now Reality/youtube culture. If you can’t ‘be somebody’ based on achievement, you can promote your way into your own little corner of importance. Even if that importance makes you look famous/important/desired/popular among 10 people.

I wish writers would stop trying to blame this ALL on the rolling stone writer(s) - if this article is true Jackie started the entire thing trying to get the attention of a boy she was infatuated with..... Sadly people were hurt by her actions but dang, did her “love interest” dodge a huge bullet or what?
unfortunately, she sounds like a typical female teen... very immature for her age... she is in college, but sounds more like a sophomore in high school... this is a general statement, but girls do stupid things when they are emotionally attached to a guy... even if the guy has no clue he is the object of affection... most of the time, the "conjured up" circumstance is trivial, benign, like pretending to run into a guy by accident, when it was really done on purpose... but every now and then, it is something big--like this...
But the writer claimed she checked with the friends - and she actually spoke to none of them.
The writer did NOTHING to verify the accuracy of the story beyond speaking to Jackie.
The writer said the frat might take action against Jackie so she couldn’t speak to them. Insane. That was a major red flag.
