Don't blame this mess on the stay-at-homes. It has been decades in the making.

Example: By the time my state gets around to the Republican primary, the nominee is already determined weeks in advance. Thus, it doesn't matter who we support or whether we even cast a primary vote.

The system is rigged. The politicians rigged it. And those politicians pass additional laws to keep it rigged. McConnell has inserted language in the budget bill that allows an increase in donations that is 10 times greater than currently allowed to a Repub group that HE heads.

The major parties have this hoodwinking they do -- Dems point fingers at the Pubbies; Pubbies point fingers at the Dems; both laugh all the way to the banks -- because the taxpayers are picking up the tab.

Union members need to be reminded their Taft-Hartley plans were not grandfathered in under Obamacare. They also need to be reminded how many of them lost spousal coverage. And how much more they pay. That’s a political point to hang your hat on.
