Its that time of the year again Black Friday.
Many people may not be aware that there are actually quite a few deals out there in the shooting, hunting, and outdoors markets.
Slick Guns has an extremely thorough and very up to date list of all of the deals you can expect to find, so check them out.
Here is a partial list of most of the major retailers that are offering Black Friday deals:

I just started saving up for a semi-auto .308 (either an AR-10 platform or an M1A) with a decent scope. I won’t be there, though, for about another six months. I’ve never done any distance shooting with a scope and I’m excited to learn the ropes this coming summer.
All readers and writers are reminded that Obola’s imperial federal government under Holder’s dictatorship uses many different ways to find out where guns are bought, who buys them, who brags about buying them, and where what guns are in what collections already.
Not saying that anybody is reading over your shoulder or anything like that now ....
lol Black Friday gun deals.
Would be catchy for a gun shop to have a Black Friday Special on ‘Black Rifles’.
LOL I remember a couple of years after Columbine, a local Gun Shop had a ‘Back To School’ Sale on his sign out front. He caught hell in the local newspaper opinion section for that, but it increased his business two fold, because as we all know, controversy gets people talking about you, and that’s free advertising. Most people thought it was kinda funny. I was talking to him before he did it, and he asked me what I thought of it. I told him to absolutely do it. LOL
Man, I wish there was a firing range around here that I could join. Everything is booked solid with waiting lines spanning years in advance.
I bought a Ruger 10/22 a few years ago, got it set up as a Liberty Training Rifle for Project Appleseed, and then could never follow up because I’ve got nowhere to shoot.
If there are any freepers in the Pittsburgh area who can suggest any ranges that I might have missed, feel free to message me.
can you post for us that are at work and have software that locks out anything to do with weapons?
It looks like the Wal-Mart 20 percent off all weekend is the best of those deals. I predict they sell out of a lot.
The Remington 870 pump at Cabelas is a great deal ($230). Bass pro shop Remington 1911 .45acp is also nice ($525).
Along with the the 10-day waiting period in California.
Headline: “Administration baffled by increase in boating accidents.”
Thanks for sharing. Found this in the “todays popular deals” section of the academy add:
$529 for a S&W 223/556 AR. Not too bad.
I’m sure somebody can but I can’t remember how to change the linky to something more “acceptable”.
Prices have been coming down, so now is a good time to buy. If you’re going the AR-10 route, you could buy the lower now and decide which upper and scope to get later. A really good scope will cost as much as the rifle in some cases. Trigicon makes some nice scopes.

There’s a public range in Wexford off I-79. Used to be free, but now costs $35/year (thanks Gov. Rendell).
DPMS 308 rifle for $750 seems like a heck of a deal for a basic MSR.
The 10 day waiting period is going away, by court order.

I wonder how long it will take for them to find a judge to reverse this or at least stay the decision pending further litigation. Sorry to say, but the 10-day waiting period in California won’t be eliminated (if it is) before the end of 2014.
