Obama's Amnesty Lawlessness Demands Accountability

Time and time again, President Obama demonstrates his contempt for the Constitution and for the American people, whose integrity and will must be subordinated to his personal prerogative and hijacked sovereignty.

Obama has admitted on several occasions that he had no authority to act unilaterally, via executive order, to grant amnesty to millions of immigrants who came here illegally, so his doing so is, in his own opinion, flagrantly illegal.

Daily he proves to us that his words mean nothing. They are utilitarian tools to serve his political purposes. When traveling the country to rally support for the DREAM Act, he confessed that he had no power to pass it on his own, but shortly thereafter, on the heels of his failed efforts to secure sufficient congressional support for this legislation, he issued an executive order implementing provisions of the act anyway.

His action wasn't nuanced or diluted in any way to create even an arguable distinction between his fiat and the provision that Congress explicitly had rejected. Not in the slightest.

It is not as if this lawless dictate, which Obama pretended to issue as an act of compassion, was of minimal consequence. Many have convincingly argued that it led to the southern "border invasion" we experienced a few months ago.

But Obama's current action would go much further — which is hardly surprising, considering that he never seems to be brought to account for his abuses of power...

After destroying the best health care system in the world, Obama is determined to grant wide amnesty to foreigners living illegally in U.S. If Obama wants to make the U.S. into another banana republic, it seems he is well underway to reaching his goal.

The Republicans must make it perfectly clear that Obama has declared a merciless war against the American workers and the middle class of America. There are 92 million of able Americans out of the work force because they cannot find employment and Obama wants to legalize and give work permits to over 11 million illegal aliens allowing them to bring here the rest of their families. In other words, another 25 or 30 million that either will compete with Americans and legal immigrants searching for scarce jobs or are going to be added to welfare, bankrupting Medicaid and the food stamp system as well as ruining even more the quality of the public schools with the massive infuse of hundreds of thousands of children without speaking English to already overburdened schools systems.

Blacks are going to be the main collateral victims of Obama's anti-Black amnesty. Black Americans are already suffering higher unemployment since Obama took power. Obama’s new class of protected immigrants will take over their jobs and Blacks will be forced to share their welfare checks and food stamps with them

The Democrats are all shrilly screaming today that Barack Obama “has no choice” but to by presidential fiat grant amnesty to millions of foreign nationals who have invaded our shores. But anyone with a brain knows that that is pure, unmitigated nonsense. There is always a choice about whether or not to fulfill your oath of office. And we have dozens of statements by Obama himself admitting that he knows very well that this lawless, treasonous action is completely unconstitutional.

Absolutely...I can understand a narcissist such as 0bama who cares not a whit about our Constitution pulling stunts such as he has.

I cannot understand an entire political party in this country supporting those actions by encouraging his unconstitutional behavior.

I won’t even say anything about the actions of some abettors in the opposition party.

Impeachment is, I think, the only recourse. To those who argue that we should just wait until the new Congress is seated and pass legislation defunding the order, and hope to pick up enough dem votes to overturn Obama’s inevitable veto.

Suppose that then, notwithstanding Congress’ action, Obama goes ahead and enforces his amnesty. What then? He can’t do that!, I hear you screaming.
