RUSH: Did you hear what happened with Don Lemon? You saw it? Yeah, and it is. And I'm wondering, you know, we -- (interruption) Who is saying "yes" to me? Snerdley?
Don Lemon on CNN, this is the guy who asked a transportation expert if a black hole could have swallowed the missing Malaysian Airlines jet, a Boeing 777. He's back today, and he was discussing one of the women who was raped by Bill Cosby, allegedly assaulted by Bill Cosby. By the way, is anybody asking what is behind this? Why now, all of a sudden out of the woodwork here comes woman after woman after woman claiming Cosby did this or did that? I mean, why now? What's the explanation?
Anyway, it has happened. So Don Lemon is asking -- see, we've got children listening to this program. We've got young readers of the Rush Revere Time-Travel Adventure series -- (interruption) I know, but children cannot hear this. I do not want to put parents into the position of having their kids say, "Mommy, mommy, what was that about?" Of course it might be that the kids might know more than their moms. But I mean, you talk about intimate details of questions. He's asking this woman, who was engaged in a Lewinsky with Cosby, why didn't you attack?
Why didn't you attack? Why didn't you attack? A Lewinsky. You all know what was going on. You know what a Lewinsky is. "Mommy, what is a Lewinsky?"
"She's a young woman who used to work for President Clinton," and you've answered it.
Okay, so a Lewinsky's going on, and Don Lemon wants to know why this woman did not attack Cosby during the Lewinsky. And she doesn't know what he means at first. So he has to describe what he means, and he did quite well. And in so doing, Don Lemon actually portrayed his own level of expertise in this particular mode of love making. And the guest was clearly shocked and so forth. I did not know it had happened, and I get an e-mail from Cookie with a transcript of it. "Do you want this? I mean, Rush, this is really beneath the standards and dignity of the EIB Network."
And I said, "Come on, what do you mean? It's Don Lemon. It's our buddy, Don Lemon. We cannot ignore this."
But then I got to thinking, every day we get calls from children reading the books. And the last thing I want is for them to hear that and start asking mommy or daddy what that was about. That would not be cool. That does not happen here on the EIB Network, so it might require an even longer countdown. Normally we give you five seconds to turn down the volume. But this might require a 10-second countdown, if I decide to do it.

CNN's Don Lemon is under fire for his handling of an interview with a woman accusing Bill Cosby of rape.
Former actress Joan Tarshis, the latest woman to say the comedian sexually assaulted her, appeared on CNN for the second time Tuesday night to tell her story.
But the interview took a turn for the worse when Lemon suggested that she could have used her teeth to avoid performing oral sex on Cosby, a remark that Tarshis tells PEOPLE made her "flustered."
"You know, there are ways not to perform oral sex if you didn't want to do it," he said.
"I was kind of stoned at the time, and quite honestly, that didn't even enter my mind," countered Tarshis, who was 19 at the time the alleged incident took place in 1969 and has claimed Cosby gave her drinks before it happened. "Now I wish it would have."
Lemon answered: "Right. Meaning the using of the teeth, right?"
But the awkward line of questioning didn't end there, with Lemon continuing to prod Tarshis for details.
"I didn't even think of it," Tarshis said.
"Biting," Lemon clarified, adding, "I had to ask."
"No, it didn't cross my mind," she said.
The line of questioning has inspired the hashtag #DonLemonReporting on Twitter, which rapidly became a trending topic.

Pound for pound, men have 50% more muscle mass than women. Add to this the fact that men are heavier, usually 50% heavier, and it’s clear she would have been foolhardy to bite him and risk a serious beating.

Lemon should be fired but I don’t see that happening at CNN.
I mean why would he be disrespectful to the women by wanting them to appear. Did he invite the women on so to ridicule them / the accusations are serious. Victims don’t want to go public due to the humiliation and judgments like some are saying.. why didn’t they report sooner which some did and tried to. In some cases against Cosby, it was taken not seriously. If an interviewer is going to handle issues like rape, decisions to keep a baby etc., it should be an interviewer that preserves integrity. This guy is not an interviewer (childish acting character is more like it) whatsoever.
And apparently off the cuff..He knows about biting apparently and had to tell us about that. Freak, yes I said it.

Really. So she was ‘partying’, right? If it was well known that Cosby raped ‘aspiring actresses’, why did so many KEEP coming to visit him ‘in private’ ?????????????????????????
I am not condoning what Bill Cosby allegedly did, but I think these women need to take some responsibility for their own ignorance, and willingness to have a ‘private meeting’ because they thought he would put them on the show and make them A STAR.

Cosby gave her pills that he said were herbal for taking away stress.
I'm guessing it's Cosby remarking that Blacks cannot blame Whites anymore. It's Cosby urging young urban Blacks to pull their pants up, speak proper English and stop mangling their bodies. It's Cosby deploring the state of urban Black youth.
Somebody with an interest in the status quo could be behind the sudden revelations.
Nope. From that bunch, he will probably get a gold plated oral dam recognizing his excellence in hard hitting interviews.
I see this as Cosby used the theory that he was taking them each under his wings, as their mentor. Young people can be so trusting. His relaxation pills were his own Spanish fly brew. Back then, people did all sorts of things and figured it would never come back to their lives. Nowadays, everyone can learn much about people lives with research and social media etc..
I use to help volunteer, through my home, finances, to young girls and boys who were runaways. Many of them especially the boys were being violated by a man in their family as were the girls so, many gave up and ran away from their circumstances but kept the secret for a long time. Many didn’t even understand they were being maligned. Much therapy and counseling was about the only method to help reach them.
Cosby had control. He was the instigator in harming these young girls back then. Personally, I think the media covered for him for many years. Media formed a narrative that he was a great man. Now, millions cannot even phantom he could do this.
Relaxation pills? Lolol

That is what I am saying, he took advantage of the girls as the other poster said she was already stoned. Yes, by him giving them these pills so he could rape them.
