CORRECTION: Due to an editing error, an earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Ben Carson made an opening bid for the Republican presidential nomination. Carson has not made a formal announcement for president, but has said he is “starting to think about it.” ABC News regrets the error.
I.e. you just got taken by the MSM again. Wouldn’t you love it, of course they know what he believes in and would love to use him as a wedge.
Apart from Carson’s 2A stance itself... the fact that he would even *arrive* at that position is a mental defect that rules him out of serious consideration.
So it’s not a “single issue” problem, it’s an “inability to reason as a conservative” problem that disqualifies Dr. Carson.
He has made a face at a sacred cow. Off with his head.
Actually, that’s a good point.

We don’t need someone in a position of power who makes it his goal to limit the Second Amendment.
Not for “health” reasons, as the Surgeon General.
Not for “safety reasons”, as the director of HUD.

If you make it to 63 (Ben Carson’s age) and don’t understand the Bill of Rights, you just don’t care.
Wanting to be president without caring what the Constitution says is an unforgivable trait in a candidate.
There is no end to the devastation such a person can cause.

And that is the point. 20% of your fat cells would not be fatal. Sometimes placement is important. Real estate and defensive shooting for example. The 80/20 rule has to be applied with some discernment.
So...when do you want them? I’m pretty anxious to unload them as soon as possible.
Have you done your due diligence into everyone you have voted for in the past? Have you gotten it clean with your soul how righteous you were?
Yes I have...Those 2 Amendments allow us to freely attend church and worship God...I won't support anyone who rejects either one of those...

Being as the Second Amendment guarantees all the others, this is a legitimate deal-breaker.
My main issues are social. But Carson flattens the meter on way too many issues for me.
There are other, far better, conservative candidates. There may even be better potential candidates that we’d call RINOs. Dr. Carson jumps the shark here, big time.
Perry is not good enough for me, because.....
Santorum is not good enough for me, because.....
Gingrich is not good enough for me, because.....
and we wound up with the Mittster.
So the fact that we wound up with a mega-RINO on the ballot is not my fault. Any of those first three would have been good enough for me.
Last time we did not have the momentum we have this time. Time for an ideal candidate.
