They are an invasive, imported species,
and should NOT be protected.
Do they taste good?
They are extremely invasive and have a huge appetite. They can wipe out a stock pond in a few days.
Btw, they’re double crested cormorants, not double breasted. I tend to like things that are the latter.
They have successfully invaded the great lakes region and are multiplying........
