Why Alaska Election Results Are Taking Sooooo Long

Neither the Alaska Senate race nor the Alaska gubernatorial race have been called -- and both may take a while.

...we may not have an answer to the questions of who is the new Senator and Governor from the Last Frontier for weeks because there are still votes to be counted and that won’t start until next week....there are 23,271 early and absentee ballots deemed eligible for counting. These are already received and reviewed as eligible. They sent out another 12,541 absentee ballots and if postmarked by November 4th, ballots can arrive legally 15 days after the election and still be properly counted. Of course, they have no idea how many of those will be returned.

Geez, Eric Holder and Obama must be pissed — the local U.S. Attorney for the District of Alaska neglected to file bogus felony charges against the Republican Sullivan.

So, where does the vote count in Alaska stand now?

In the Alaska Senate race, with 100% of precincts reporting, Sullivan has 49% to Begich’s 45.3% of the vote. Sullivan leads Begich by 8,149 votes. In the Alaska Gubernatorial race, with 100% of precincts reporting, independent challenger Bill Walker has 48% to incumbent GOP Gov. Sean Parnell’s 46.6% of the vote. Walker, the independent gubernatorial candidate running with a Democratic lieutenant governor to form a “unity ticket,” leads Parnell by 3,165 votes.

Democrats always win the close ones. This one is within the margin of corruption.

Why Alaska Election Results Are Taking Sooooo Long

Because the Democrats are trying to steal the election.

Does anyone else notice that, nowadays, in spite of early voting, liberalized mail ballot rules, electronic voting and counting, that close elections take longer and longer for all of the votes to be counted?

Why is this? I’ve heard of a few close elections around the country, in which news reports indicate tens of thousandsnof votes haven’t even been touched yet, days after election day. Wait the heck is going on?

I am sure the Dems have completed forms for all those absentee ballots not returned by the real voter. They are masters of fraud.

The counting of the absentee and question ballots will start on the 11th and end no later then the 19th. We should know the outcome by the 12th. This is sop for Alaska. I do not see a path for Begich and only a very slim chance for Parnell. Most of the absentee ballots are in R districts.

Still lots of votes to be counted. Begich is trailing by some 8,000+ plus votes
so that can change depending upon the early, absentee and mail ballots yet to be tallied.

.... 23,271 early and absentee ballots deemed eligible to be counted.

.... 12,541 absentee ballots sent out and if postmarked by November 4th, ballots
can arrive legally 15 days after the election and still be properly counted.
That would be Nov. 19.

Mail delivery from the bush country I suspect is part of the process
requiring the extended time.

Wait the heck is going on?

They have to go around checking all the neighborhood tool sheds for "misplaced" mail bags full of thousands of Democratic absentee ballots.
