I laugh at these headlines concerning creationists.

As if there weren’t any problems with proving evolution was the source of the human species.

I view this sort of information and file it away.

My God and I will discuss it at some future point.

“Many creationists have tried to portray ichthyosaurs as being contrary to evolution...”

That’s not why. They like to argue the point because, ‘Ichthyosaurus’ is so much fun to say!

Say it with me... :)

It’s the Helen Thomas replacement.

I didn’t think evolutionists admitted there were any missing links. I guess there aren’t until they find one? Now we are back to no missing links?

Until we have a fossil of every individual organism that ever existed (which by definition is impossible) we will have missing links. So your point is a red herring. There are some lineages that we have a strong evolutionary record for, and others that we have a weaker evolutionary record for.

Making my point for me. You believe what you believe regardless of any and all facts to the contrary. Your choice. Just don't pretend your viewpoint is reality-based.

Some photos are just too offensive for even this forum. Even a fossil could be deeply offended by devolution.

“The scientific question was settled more than a century ago.”

Really? Then why do you - and the author of this piece - feel it is necessary to keep addressing the issue? Obviously it isn’t “settled” except in the minds of those so indoctrinated.

The most arrogant statement ever uttered from the feeble mind of mankind.

That's quite a claim. You really don't believe scientific questions can be settled? The flat-earth hypothesis is still plausible...?

From what I read, Eden was not the entire planet Earth, also is a day to God? Again, I have concluded that a lot of assumptions out there, but they aren’t neccessarily the case.

Which is fine by me, because evolution as the origination of the human species is also fictional based.

At least I have a good story. You folks haven’t even come up with something rational yet.

I can live with the fact that I don’t know how long one of God’s days were.

Works for me.

For all I know his first day was 1 billion years for us.

Yeah, so was the theory of black holes until a few weeks ago...Now scientists are calling them "greyholes".

I don’t know, but aren’t most of these creationists a fringe element anyway. I don’t see any reason, given that the law isn’t upholding them in schools, an even private schools explain the concept of evolution/natural selection. They’re good for comedy or ignoring, IMHO.

Creationists do not ignore ‘evidence’ - they start from a different place — God exists, anything is possible in His plan — evolution/ Creation/ chance mutations — let’s see what the evidence reveals. Some Creationinsts are stricter than others.

Hard-core evolutionists who refuse to consider a Divine creation or Intelligent design start from a different premise — God does not exist, therefore the evidence must demonstrate the evolution of species by chance and environmental pressures.

Acquired traits are not inherited, and natural selection narrows the genome, and does not widen it, so per the genetics I studied, once the genes for gills are removed from a species’ genome, they cannot be reacquired. It is not logical that a the genome would allow a species to lose gills, grow lungs, lose lungs and grow gills. That simply doesn’t make sense. Maybe it does to you. Dunno.

I will ask you this: when the first fertile human ‘evolved’, with a genome different from its parents (different species) what did it mate with?

BTW, I am a physiologist by education (many years ago) and hold a great appreciation for the works of Dr. Francis Collins who risked his reputation to write a very readable book as a scientist making a case for faith in God. Dr. Collins has PhDs in physical, mathematical and natural science doctrines. He led the team that decoded the human genome. For him, based on that work, there is little doubt in his empirical mind, that God exists, He guided His creation, and He put information in all genomes via DNA. Collins does a good job casting doubt on the ‘science’ and modern theory of evolution by the way, and encourages natural and physical scientists to lose their faith in modern theories of evolution and its mechanisms.

Should you care to read it, search for The Language of God by Dr. Collins. Easy read for a scientist; a bit tough for the general public.

For a totally different way of covering the same topic, read Ann Coulter’s book Godless.

Enjoy your evening by asking an evolutionist to refute the notion of irreducible complexity. ;-)

And also Eden was not the entire Earth, if so, where could Adam and Eve go? FWIW, it could be anything from a temporary ranch to some kind of spacecraft. I can’t say I know.
