Why hasn’t Obama just forced these doctors to accept Obamacare patients or threaten to take away their medical licenses?
0bama does not have the authority to do what he has already done. If he were to try to force doctors into something as stupid as obamacare he would start a revolution that would take obamacare and him down.
Simple solution, as Forbes suggests above: doctors will simply be forced to accept it.
MD’s will be a surly lot if the Obama admin tries to order them to see patients.
Herding cats would be infinitely easier.
I believe that it’s all part of the Dems’ plan. Think about it: part of how they got ObummerCare passed in the first place was by pouring the hate on evil, rich doctors (doctors just want to cut people’s feet off to make more money, etc.).
So, now that more and more doctors are refusing to take ObummerCare, the Dems are expecting a hue and cry against those “evil” doctors who just want to make money. What will be the answer? Prog/Statists will, of course, push more federal legislation to require doctors to take ObummerCare, whether they want to or not. It’s the next logical step towards their ultimate goal of socialized medicine.
That will come, but the smart docs will already have moved offshore with intact licenses and transferred them to the foreign state where they established their practice.

My family doctor began his concierge practice in January last year because of Obamacare. Basically for $2,500/yr you could see him for all your health care needs. He notified all his patients and gave them an opportunity to sign uup. I haven’t heard how he is doing but I dont blame him and wish him the best...

Unavoidable counter to that unworkable solution, doctors revolt and refuse. Conflict follows, and chances of the citizenry siding with government over their doctors is effectively nil.
This was supposed to happen, but not until Obama was out of office. The left miscalculated the rate of collapse built into Obamacare.
Medical licenses are granted by the states, not the feds.
Since when did states rights mean anything to this POSPOTUS?
