President Obama keeps saying that a mandatory quarantine of health workers returning from Ebola-afflicted countries is wrong. But the reasons he gives don't make logical sense.
Why, for example, should soldiers returning from those countries stay isolated for 21 days — as now mandated by Defense Secretary Hagel — before returning to society, but not doctors, nurses or social workers who are far more likely to have been in direct contact with Ebola patients?

Once you accept the premise that these decisions are being made by America-hating, communist psychopaths, things start to make a lot of sense...
A real nation would have one single theme....one single policy.....one single thread of common sense led by a smart medical guy who you’d trust (C. Everett Koop). So far, there’s probably six different themes....no single national policy....and no common sense.
As for the military quarantine for guys returning? Want to bet that two days into this...they are seen exiting the NCO club or BX?

Liberal Logic Answer: Because if a soldier is infected, it will be “combat Ebola” - far deadlier than regular Ebola and may become dangerous after purchasing an assault vector - thus becoming armed due to PTSD related condition!
Given the history of health care workers returning from West Africa who lie about their exposure, a mandatory quarantine makes even more sense.
But, the nation is being run by a JV team.

I noticed yesterday that Obama’s argument against quarantine was that it could not be implemented perfectly (”You can’t hermetically seal the country”). What a croc!

The actual problem is not HCW who, as far I have heard, have not lied about anything, but the 150 people a day like Duncan who lie their way into the country and then lie at the hospital and lie to themselves when they are puking their guts out in their GF's aparment. Oh no, I don't have Ebola, that 19 year old had a miscarriage and bit her tongue, yeah, that's the ticket. That is the real problem, not a handful of HCWs.

Of course it makes sense, Obama was brought up hating America, when he was a foreign student, when he was a community organizer when he was given a free education at the cost to American taxpayers. When he opens the gates and gives amnesty to illegals, when he brings in African Obola patients to contaminate Americans. Pure and simple there is absolutely no evidence that he loves or admires America.
