Alert to my Christian FReeper Friends - Please Vote
10/29/2014 | TNoldman

Posted on 10/29/2014 11:31:23 AM PDT by TNoldman

I want to encourage my Christian FReeper friends to get out and VOTE. Our Country is in trouble and we need change to restore American values. That will not happen if you stay home. Our NOT VOTING is helping the Democrats.

Consider going to www.123vote.com and also viewing the Youtube video of iPledge at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miELdKs5fqY&feature=youtu.be&t=10m46s

I am encouraging you to vote for the Candidates that MOST closely meet Biblical Principles.

We could have had a much better outcome if we all had voted for Mitt Romney in 2012.

Agreed, not voting helps the Democrats unless you have one of those screwy voting places where it registers the opposite, I just saw on drudge another case of this happening.

Rush just said Walker has surged out to a 7% lead

BUT BUT you have to make sure your vote is NOT complacent and someone thinks, “Oh well, Walker will win, I don’t have to go vote.” NO, you need to go out and vote, otherwise, if you lose, you can’t complain about it.

Gov. Walker would be a very qualified presidential candidate in 2016.

Nope. He caved on the court decision to allow queer marriages in his state.

No conservatives will vote for him.

So, you wouldn't vote for him if he was our candidate?

Why should we vote for a candidate who is not a fighter for conservative causes?

Walker may well get beat by a court if he put an order on it. He’s also in a campaign race. Maybe that’s not good enough for you. We will see how other governors act.

And of course, one can be like the Senators who will NEVER face this decision, Senators who will run for President but haven’t even passed a bill yet.

Planned Parenthood got defunded in Wisconsin and clinics closed or abortion mills closed if one wants to make that distinction. Not bad and they passed the Ultrasound bill as well. I think that is in effect. As for me, I can’t have everything perfect.

Geron, he is a fiscal conservative. No 'pub is going to please everybody.

I'll vote for Cruz, but would prefer Walker, despite his flaws.

Hell, look who we had to vote for the last few election cycles.

________________

Assume I did. Better yet. Assume I voted AGAINST Hillary, just like I voted AGAINST Obama leaving a vote for Walker.

That doesn’t win elections. Ask McCain and Romney. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

Unless the Repubs offer somone we can endorse and campaign for, the results in 2016 will be the same as 2012 and 2008.

And Walker is not that person.

Because! R! Hello! You vote for the R because, well, R! Who cares if they champion Conservative causes? They got an R next to their name! Vote for them, or help the D's!

Do I really need a /sarc?

The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that if Democrats do not like everything about their candidate they vote for them anyway. If Republicans do not like everything about Republican candidates they stay at home and allow the Democrat to win.

If you say so. I’m neither a Republican nor a Democrat.

I’m a conservative and apart from Sen. Ted Cruz and a few others - there is no one that represents me and mine in the cesspool known as Washington DC.

“Vote for Republicans - They Suck Less!”

is just not a winning strategy.

I only mentioned Walker because Rush commented on him,not to defend him. They did fight the Court that forced Same Sex Marriage on the state. I guess he didn’t want to go as far as Executive Order if that was an option. No other governor has, perhaps if it comes down to it, Governors Jindal or Perry will fight it.
