This ad, featuring clips of Mitch McConnell, Pat Roberts, and many other Republicans implies that austerity cuts to the CDC and NIH are responsible for the 2014 Ebola outbreak. This ad with run in Kentucky and other states leading up to the election.

The Republicans should immediately respond with an ad showing that in 2010 the Obama administration scrapped plans to enact sweeping new federal quarantine regulations that the CDC touted four years ago as critical to protecting Americans from dangerous diseases such as ebola.
So CDC budget increased 10% instead of 30% increase. Washington calls the smaller “increase” a cut. LOL!
Oh so they are implying we could have spent our way out of Ebola, that the Dems are allowing to come in and infect everyone. They are breaching protocol. Basically the United States is a dumping ground for Ebola.
No one else in the world calls increase in budgets cuts. Perhaps North Korea?

This ad is perfect! It’s a perfect opportunity for a voter IQ test. Anyone who believes that Obama, the single president who will have created more public debt than all previous presidents combined, can blame opposition “budget cuts” for his bungled reaction to Ebola, is too stupid to be allowed to vote.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

The pubs would be wise to get on offense. The pictures of people in hazmat suits are stunning and reminds me of the visuals of long gas lines. Obama owns this as he allowed these people into the country.
I would like to see an ad - “America deserves better that this (pictures of people in hazmat suits). We need know who is coming into our country and not allow ebola victims to freely travel into our country and infect our families. This isn’t America. Is this how you want to live?”.
There has NOT BEEN A BUDGET for years, they are working off of Continuing Resolutions.
In fact Senate Dems have explained a Budget is not required, CR’s are fine and dandy
