Very few people that are really tall, over 6’-4” or so, live to old age.

I’ve known several that were almost 7’, they were dead before 60.

I met former NFL nose tackle Ma’ake Kemoeatu (Ravens, Panthers, Redskins) through a friend. You always hear on television that a guy is 6’6”, 340 pounds... until you see it in person, and it’s not some grossly obese person... you become awed that he can be that proportioned and an amazing athlete. Kemoeatu is a mountain of a man. He also gave up his career to donate one of his kidneys to his brother, former NFL OL Kris Kemoeautu (Steelers).

In this photo, Yao Ming looks to be more than 5” taller than Shaq. I’d say it’s closer to 10”

I have met Shaq...I’m 6’3 and he is a mountain of a human being, and Yao has him by 6 inches.

I don’t think so either. The SK military said (2008/2009) he wasn’t fit for military service due to bad eyesight in his left eye, turned out to be a brain tumor, which was removed.

I saw him on a variety show and he moves really awkwardly. I know they said he could take hard punches and kicks very well when he was fighting, but I doubt he could now. Just going by the way he looks, maybe it is hard to judge with someone so big.
