Abortion Clinic Displays Sign for Pro-Abortion Kansas Candidate Greg Orman

Want to know which Kansas Senate candidate a local abortion clinic hopes will win next month? LifeNews blogger Andrew Bair posted a picture he obtained today showing the Center for Women’s Health abortion clinic posting a sign for candidate Greg Orman.

The image appears below:

Orman is in a heavily contested race against pro-life Sen. Pat Roberts.

One national pro-life group says Kansas voters who don’t know much about Orman need to be aware that, though he is an independent, he would be just another pro-abortion Democrat working with Harry Reid to stop pro-life legislation in the Senate.

The National Right to Life Committee reinforced its endorsement of Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts for re-election to the United States Senate, noting that “independent” candidate Greg Orman would be “just another pro-abortion, anti-life Democrat vote” if elected.

“Greg Orman has the same extreme abortion position as Barack Obama,” said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president. “Both Greg Orman and Barack Obama support a policy which allows abortion on demand for any reason.”

National Right to Life’s Tobias observed that, if elected, Orman, who previously ran for the U.S. Senate as a Democrat, and who supported Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, “would support the Obama-Reid pro-abortion, anti-life agenda, which is out of touch with most Kansans and mainstream America.”

In sharp contrast, Sen. Pat Roberts has compiled a 100% pro-life voting record and, as National Right to Life noted in its April 21 endorsement, Roberts “has been a key supporter of every major pro-life initiative” during his tenure in the U.S. Senate.

Roberts is a co-sponsor of S. 1670, the “Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act” – groundbreaking legislation to protect unborn children at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.

Roberts voted against enactment of Obamacare, which provides government funding for insurance plans that pay for abortion on demand, and will lead to the rationing of lifesaving medical treatments. On April 1, 2014, he introduced the “Repeal Rationing in Support of Life Act,” which targets the four key rationing components of Obamacare identified in a March 2014 report issued by National Right to Life.

“Greg Orman would be one more pro-abortion, anti-life Democrat vote in the U.S. Senate,” Tobias said. “No one should be fooled by Greg Orman’s ‘independent’ charade. Kansans should vote to re-elect Pat Roberts.”

Yep, he’s an “anti-abortion” “independent” all right. Any guesses what his “with DNC” voting percentage would be if he got elected?

I wonder if the abortion clinic is a “non-profit organization.”

Lots of Freepers don’t like Roberts, wouldn’t vote for him if they could and would be happy if his opponent wins. They berate anyone who supports Roberts for betraying the conservative cause. Orman is a follower and supporter of Kathleen Sebelius, the former Abortion Queen Kansas Governor. They oppose Roberts, I guess that makes them conservatives.

Roberts has an 84 ACU rating and is 100% prolife.

What is the main reason people have for being against him...just because he's old?

My first thought, too -— non-profit?

BUT, that only matters IF it is a CONSERVATIVE group. The Dems have been campaigning in churches for too many years to count, and everyone in government looks the other way.

So, yes -— they are probably non-profit.

And, no -— it won’t make any difference.

“Lots of Freepers don’t like Roberts”

I’m not in Kansas so I don’t know either.

I do know this. Either either Roberts or the man who has his sign in an abortion clinic’s window. I tell you what, there is no way in hell I’m voting for anyone an abortion clinic supports.

He extracted the RATS from KS state politics, particularly in ‘education’.

He is facing the same Wisconsin-type RATS Walker is. People who couldn’t sell their services anywhere in any nation except to the KS govt.

Odds are 100 to 1 that this operation is receiving a government subsidy of some sort in one way or another.

If we had a government that applied the law equally and without bias, an operation like this would be investigated for possible violations of election law.

Roberts graduated from Kansas State University in 1957, went into the Marines, then went to Arizona to work as a journalist. He got a job as a staffer for a Kansas Senator and moved to Washington in 1967. He later became a staffer for Keith Sebelius (father in law of Kathleen Sebelius), congressman for Western Kansas. When Sebelius retired, he was annointed as his replacement. When Nancy Landon Kassebaum retired from the Senate, Roberts was the chosen successor.

So, he hasn’t lived in Kansas since graduating from college. He’s never had to campaign or deal with ordinary people, he just takes care of the party honchos and the lobbyists. On the good side, he is at least as conservative as is the Kansas Republican party and he has generally voted the right way when it counts. His reaction to being called on the residence question really annoyed people. He was arrogant, condescending, and dismissive with the whole issue. A very bad move that will likely cause him to lose to a flaming liberal.

Exodus ch 20 v 13, "Thou shalt not kill"

Case closed.

Abortion for any cause other than saving the life of the mother is nothing less than premeditated murder of a living human being, and the perpetrator(s) should be punished to the same degree as he/she would be if the murder victim had been an adult human being.

I didn't add "IMHO" because it's not just my opinion, it's God's eternal, unchangeable LAW which is punishable by eternal damnation in hell unless the guilty party repents of ALL sin and accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Eternity in hell is an unimaginably horrible punishment and I couldn't sentence anyone to that horror, not even Hitler, but I'm not God.

Precisely my friend. Oh Lord, how the serial murderers will wail. Uh, too late.

Oh, by the way, the Lake of Fire unmakes all who enter, it is eternal death, not eternal torment, the smoke of their destruction is eternal.

Please don’t impute to God what the charlatans use to coerce faith. God is just and merciful. It is who He is, and flimflam artists of every ilk from popes to tv preachers have blasphmed His name eough.

Be still and know Who is God. He will unmake what He made, no one will ever emerge from the Lake of fire.

We who have trusted and the trust is irrevocable will not face eternal death—nothingness if you prefer, but eternal life.

centurion316, I don’t know why you waste your time talking to these idiots. I suspect they’re mostly liberal trolls anyway, with no interest whatsoever in reason and logic. Their main objective is to supress conservative turnout on Election Day.

You have a point. I do think that much of what they write does their cause more harm than good.
