Of the many things that could be compared to candidates for governor, a wedding dress has to rank pretty low on the list.
But the College Republican National Committee did just that with its series of Say Yes to the Candidate ads, spoofs on the Say Yes to the Dress reality show that airs on TLC. First up was an ad comparing the Rick Scott, a modern dress favored by the bride, to the Charlie Crist, an outdated model favored by the brides mother.

Say Yes to the Candidate!
The Republican party is now targeting young women of all races...by parodying the "Say Yes to the Dress" cable show.
Guess who has their panties in a bunch? Liberal journalists and activists.
Love it.

Liberals are always upset about something..they could have had an Ad that said “VOTE REPUBLICAN” and the left would have gotten upset with it. They have NO lives and are miserable, that is why they are liberal
To: SoFloFreeper
Great ad. The left hates it because it’s effective.

If it has liberals angry, I like it. But a punch in the face would be better than an ad for the psychotic college breed of commie

What a bunch of whiners. I’d be embarrassed to complain about a political ad like this.

Great ad! Ladies, please come up to NC and help Thom Tillis get rid of the “old hag” Kay Hagan!! I usually don’t use such derogatory terms, but, in Hagan’s case, it’s a perfect fit!

Yet no outcry from the left when Dems in Colorado made a series of ads for Obamacare portraying young women as promiscuous and young men as beer drinking yahoos. Don’t worry about the sex, the savior will take care of those pesky STD’s and pregnancies.

Clever ad! There's another good one at the site that parodies “The Bachelor” . Kudos to the team that put these together.
