Most conservatives will see and understand and support and feel commonality when there are others fighting tyranny.
Some, on the other hand, are nihilistic and not conservative.
Those protesters in Hong Kong are the anti-Occutards. They are demanding freedom, democracy and capitalism. They are cleaning up after themselves and even doing their homework in the street.
I’m confident U.S. conservatives could get more excited about your Chinese friends and their fight regarding government tyranny, if our own freedoms right here were not being dismantled and undermined as a matter of routine.
Some on the other hand for whatever their motives, want to run all over the planet putting out their fires, when your own home is clearly burning.

I’m a big freedom lover period. Because I think that is how God intended us to live.
We don't have to get violent. We just have to keep talking about it, and never shut up about it. This is when they try to silence us through Political Correctness or “that's racist” comments.
I'll put it to you this way. Whatever the Globalist (aka the control freaks/communist/socialist) are for something.... by default.... I'm against it.

Chinese are a safer bet for an orderly transition to democracy and a civil society than Arabs and Mooselimbs, any day.
