Politico Ridiculously Accuses 2016 GOP Hopefuls of Fomenting Ebola Panic

Nice try.

The likely 2016 Republican presidential candidates — except for Perry — are practically lining up to warn that the Obama administration isn’t doing enough to keep Ebola out of the United States, now that Dallas is dealing with the nation’s first confirmed case.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky declared on “The Laura Ingraham Show” that “this could get beyond our control” and worried, “Can you imagine if a whole ship full of our soldiers catch Ebola?”

Sen. Ted Cruz — Perry’s Texas colleague — raised the prospect of restricting or banning flights to the West African countries that are hardest hit by the disease, noting in a letter to the Federal

Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin floated the idea of quarantining airline passengers in the affected African countries before they could fly out. “We’re learning a lot about how it’s spread but the question is ‘How can a person just jump on a plane and get here without a quarantine period of 21 days,’ which I believe is recommended,” he said on a radio talk show Wednesday. A spokesman for Ryan says the congressman misspoke and was referencing a recommendation to be monitored for 21 days.

And Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal says the United States should cut off flights from those countries. “President Obama said it was ‘unlikely’ that Ebola would reach the U.S. Well, it has, and we need to protect our people,” he said in a statement Friday.

None of what was mentioned above is “panic.” Each is a real-world, rational way of dealing with the problem. At this stage, some may be more premature than others. However, some of us are beginning to a) think the government may not be truthful about what is going on and/or b) isn’t competent enough to react properly even if it isn’t.

If anyone is mildly panicking, it is solely because the Dallas situation has been mishandled in many ways and we were assured recently that the situation wasn’t going to happen anyway.

Kudos, however, to Politico for carrying some water for the administration in advance.

Good doggies.

Between Ebola, TB, and the Honduran flu — it’s pretty clear that our borders are not be properly secured.

As we all already know, Politico is nothing but a commie lib website. They’re full of it. I wish the GOP WOULD SPEAK UP ABOUT Obola. Unfortunately, they’re being quiet as mice.

The Democrats also accused Republicans in Congress - and in the Bush 43 administration - of trying to spread panic when some of them went public with misgivings about how the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac GSE agencies were being run.

In 2008, the Federal Government took over Fannie Mae, which at the time owned or guaranteed about half of the $12 trillion mortgage market.

Warnings began to be raised by the Bush 43 administration in 2001.

What a bunch of damned s**theads. We are supposed to obey the random and capricious dictates of “climate change” without the slightest proof, indeed with plenty of counter-proof, but when it comes to taking common sense measures against DOCTORS who have come down with this disease, doctors who presumably know and knew exactly how serious this was, and treated their charges in bubble-gear and took every precaution against infection and caught the disease anyway....WE are the extremists, the alarmists.

Damn them to hell. May they die in a fire.

As I just posted on another thread...

People chose their lesser evils and their lesser evils refused to stop the madness or even raise the alarm.

Now we pay as a society for thinking that electing people with principle didn’t matter. Yup, it comes back to that. Democrats are and always have been nazis. Our job was to elect people willing to fight them. We failed. The lesser evils stood silently while the Dems in conjunction with their global partners intentionally spread ebola.

Now, they unleashed their plague, turned off all the safety valves and there is nothing but the hand of God that can stop it.

So yea. I share that foreboding. Except in my mind it’s a foregone conclusion. If anyone wants to argue that based on the facts in evidence, might as well. Need something to do while we wait.”

So Republicans are mocked for being panicked about Ebola which is deadly. Even though no one said anything close to panicky.

Yet Dems on a daily basis fear monger and wildly panic over global warming which is a hoax.

Amazing the bias and double standards - thanks to a corrupt media.

Obama promised us unicorns. Instead we get the pale horse.

And I looked , and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

The game of Ebola Roulette continues...

*click* spin *click* spin *click* spin…BANG!

Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!

Bring Out Your Dead

We’re gonna need

a bigger cart!

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Hopefully, the GOP will keep up the arguments that 0Bamma is weak, putting the country at risk with ebola, putting the country at risk with the porous southern border, and is absolutely lacking with regard to ISIS
