There’s lots of talk about it. Last month, Scotland voted against it. In 2013, some residents in California, Colorado and Maryland signed petitions to do it. And Texas has toyed with the idea off and on for years. What is “it”?
Secession!
But it’s a lot more talk than anything else, according to a Fox News national poll that asked voters if they would support their state splitting off from the United States. Just nine percent said they would.
The poll also gave people another option: What if you could boot other states out of the union?

Which state would be the first voted out? California. Of the voters willing to ditch a state or two, 53 percent pick the Golden State.
Next out the door is New York (25 percent), followed by Texas (20 percent) and Florida (11 percent).

As a New Yorker, I have to say that those who did not vote to kick out New York, have never been to New York, and know nothing about New York. :)
Then again, maybe Kalifornia really is even worse.

California secession, no; Federal occupation forces by a Republican Administration pending readmission as a law abiding state, yes.
California and Floriduh are my top two.
I wonder if Obama said which of the 57 states he’d want removed.
Massachusettes has always been one of my top choices. NY, NJ, follow closely....see a patern here? Cal, well if it were run properly, I’d not vote out but given its current and projected situation, it comes a close fourth.
I vote to kick Texas out.

If Texas goes... I’d vote Oklahoma go with them. We’d help you guys shut that border and be just fine. BOOMER!
As a native Californian I can see why so many people
feel the way. For one thing Hollywood has helped to
destroy the culture of the nation. On the other hand
California did provide the world with Ronald Reagan.
Secession is old hat
The here and now (finally expressed by fox) is purgation. That is states shall be purged from the union.
I personally have promoted purging Neoeuropa. That is all the states north and east of and including New York. They are no longer American in values and should be cast out.
My four choices (in no particular order)...
New York
Illinois
California
Massachusetts
And then move there. It's a good plan.

Great idea - California could open their borders and become a third world country without dragging the rest of us down with them...
Here in Texas we are actively considering leaving!!!
I vote with you. I suspect most Texans would vote with you also.
The city should be kicked out...and Albany with it...the rest of upstate NY should stay in. They might be able to rehab Rochester and Buffalo.
