One big reason why he won’t be

I did not know about #6. Very impressive. Very, very impressive.

It wouldn't work, of course, any more than promises from Reagan or Bush to increase revenue by cutting taxes worked. Both worked. Just not enough to keep up with DC spending.

If Ted Cruz falls short, Mike Pence would get my vote.
He’s a solid conservative, isn’t flashy and is the governor of a mid Western state.
Pence should have been the candidate in 2012 but wasn’t. He is the future of the GOP and I think he would make a fine President.

Cue the “he’s not perfect, so I’m voting for the Democrat just to show you all” crowd in 3-2-1...

Governor Pence would be an excellent candidate for President in 2016, and I don't doubt he'd make a great President as well.

Do we really want another governor as candidate with great credentials but no track record of how he/she would vote in DC?
This does seems like a bit of a ruse to dilute the Ted Cruz vote and maybe slip in a RINO instead.

I’m not voting for RINOs like Romney, Christie and Bush.
They are simply unelectable. And if they are nominated, I won’t be voting in 2016.
I want a conservative President and its not too much to ask after 8 years of Obama.

“The biggest fallacy about presidential nominations is overestimating the role of rank-and-file voters. As political scientists Marty Cohen, David Karol, Hans Noel, and John Zaller have shown, established party actors actually exert vast control over the process.”
Still think the GOP gives a DAMN what you think?

Uhhh...he was a congressman for about 12 years so there is a clear track record, and it’s a good one.

I like Ted Cruz but I think Pence is perfect compromise candidate.
He’s held a lot of elective offices and doesn’t have the stench of loser written all over him.
And he’s the right fit for a country tired of 8 years of Obama.

The smear against Gov. Palin shows this snarky
RINO is connected to Mitt Romney and another
RINO for Romney’s Agendae of attacking Gov. Palin,
and for the GOP’s DEATH PANELS.

No.
But if they want to elect Clinton or Warren, they have no one to blame but themselves if they pick another weak candidate.
There will be a strong GOP field in 2016 and the voters can decide who has the best chance to win in November.

Pence has had exceptional Congressional experience which, in addition to his experience at a Governor, makes him a unique candidate for President.
From Wikipedia:
His Committee assignments in the U.S. House included: Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Middle East and South Asia (Vice Chair), Judiciary, Subcommittee on the Constitution (Vice Chair), and Subcommittee on Intellectual Property, Competition, and the Internet. While in Congress he belonged to the Congressional Internet Caucus, International Conservation Caucus, Sportsmen's Caucus, and the Tea Party Caucus.
