A dig at Gov. Sarah Palin right off the bat? Meh. That was my reaction as well. Even if I were inclined to be open to Pence as a candidate, that comment would push me away from the start. Anyone who starts their argument for why their candidate should be considered by making ad hominem slaps at conservatives diminishes the credibility of their candidate, not the credibility of the target of their attack.

Really. Pence tested the waters back about 10 years or so ago. I recall little about him except that I didn't like him. I believe he is a "moderate" which is why the Palin-hater is sucking up to him.
