It sure does, considering the damage that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and the rats have done to it

And you as well. We can agree to differ in point of view yet still share similar principles.

Are going to do a follow up?

When the eagle is chopped up by a wind generator?
Owned by a company who has the 30 year approval from Obama stating they are special and are exempt from federal law?

Just wondering.

animals are equal, just some more equal than others.

In 48 years as a Michigan resident, I saw one Bald Eagle. In Maryland they are very common. We had three leading us down a river for a couple miles while kayaking.

I live less than 10 miles from Manchester now. I see the eagles mostly in the winter and fall. I did see one yesterday soaring over the lake looking for some eats.

Now, if a private citizen had resued that eagle, he might be looking at jail time and a huge fine for every feather the government agents found on his boat or snagged in his jacket. It was bad enough that the Coast Guard waited for permission from two different entities before they were confident enough to make a move.

If you don’t like living in a country where the attorney general is forced to resign in discrace, then go back to kenya.

I think its awesome that they’re becoming common again.

I have friends who live on the shore line of Congor Bay in New Baltimore, which is part of Lake St. Clair. On several occasions they have seen a local eagle perched on one of their dock pylons.

They also have neighbors who "used" to tether their miniature dachsund outside in their back yard on the lake until they found it's remains in the yard.........Evidently some bird of prey saw it as a quick meal.........LOL!

As a side note about the article, I find it interesting that the Coast Guard had to first obtain permission from the DNR to attempt to rescue the bird, THEN from the Consumers Power company to access their property on the shore line............

I don't know what proper protocol is but I would have simply jumped into the water and swam or waded over to the bird and rescued it........end of story.

A good story, I appreciate it since I’m in Michigan.......As a side note, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing our eagles here in S.E. Michigan.

I hope not and I certainly hope this thread isn't being hijacked into a political thread...which you appear to be instigating.....

Just sayin'
