An Algerian jihadist group has released a video showing the beheading of French tourist Herve Gourdel, who was seized on Sunday.
Militant group Jund al-Khilafa had set a 24-hour deadline on Tuesday for France to halt air strikes in Iraq.

Strangely Algeria is not on my list of places to vacation.
France should respond by doubling its participation in the anti-ISIS campaign.

Now, I would enjoy visiting France, and as a descendant of the French, I would be like a kid in a candy store enjoying it's rich history, beauty and culinary delights.

Other than the masterpiece mystery stuff, I avoid PBS but an episode of that guy was in the last few minutes.
The pali and yassir worship was laughable.
I used to work in public TV and I didn’t watch most of it. If some friends in master control on, they would sometimes find a network feed of Stargate or batman TAS and put it on a tie line.
I had to keep an eye out for the ass kissing loudmouth informer to management. He loved to snoop and blab about others. He was a big commie lib and especially hated me since I didn’t conform and was actually competent.
Not once ever did he or anyone else ever was left high and dry for days in a row doing the job of 4. He would have whined for weeks if he had to do one. I never got so much as a gee thanks from any of that crowd upstairs at 1101 GRB for the multiple times it happened to me.
I was planning on going through there years ago.
A lot of cross Africa or around the world motorcycle treks go through these countries.
Used to be a “brotherhood” and folks would not bother you. Sure you would get robbed, but you carried very little to rob so it was expected. THAT was almost a rite of passage.
Now, they kill you and steal your bike.
I had to settle for a long cross continent ride in the US and Canada.
