Paul Allen, the Microsoft co-founder who recently chipped in $500,000 to back a gun control proposal in Washington state, is now catching flak for buying a World War II Nazi tank.
The tank in question, a Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. H, commonly referred to as a Panzer IV, was allegedly sold in July for $2.5 million to a foundation tied to Allen. However, attention over the deal, which is now tied up in a lawsuit over non-delivery, has now earned Allen the scorn of gun rights groups when compared to the tech pioneer’s half-million dollar donation to help push gun control ballot initiative I-594.

It looks like it could be used as a big billboard for the anti gun “nazis”. Moms lookin’ for a little ‘action’, mark and gabby giffords travelin’ puppet show, nannie bloomers etc could put the circle and crossed out gun stickers all over it. They could even use it to scare the mindless idiots out there that if we don’t pass intregalactic background check laws, this it what will happen. You can buy them at your local gun show with no checks at all. You know the drill. Works for the meme about military weapons in the hands of civilians.

Why does he need a tank? Does he use it for target shooting or hunting? After he takes delivery we should ban all tanks from private citizens and have a twenty dollar gift card buyback program to keep the streets safe from tanks.

Most of these gun banners are huge hypocrites - carry permits, armed body guards and/or large gun collections and even tanks now I guess. They can all KMA.

Hmmm.. The Panzer division was a branch of the SS, which would make the tank Nazi, no?. As opposed to the military, the SS had their own uniforms, guns, boots, etc. I guess the real answer would be in its original use.
According to a few guys of the local MVPA chapter, the only way they can have a tank would be to have one obtained from anow allied/NATO country.
