I’ve met both men, and was over in N Ireland there for a year and a half, and yes I know damn well what they were like.
The difference is that the Guardian would only say this about Paisley while the other two murdering scumbags would get a free pass. as they have by some American elected officials
That’s why I called it a freak show, if you’ll remember, and why I only read the Guardian for its food column. I was banned from its notorious CiF for my pro-American positions. Cowards! I do think Amanda Foreman has written sympathetically about Jean McConville (I have a bee in my bonnet about that tragic woman) for the Guardian. My memory could be playing me up.
