What would the new first amendment say?:

Congress and states may regulate and set reasonable limits.

Should congress have the constitutional authority to ban movies?

Should congress have the constitutional authority to ban books?

Should congress have the constitutional authority to ban the NAACP?

It is a good, quality video, from YESTERDAY, and it shows Ted Cruz speaking before the United States Senate at length.

Speaking of 49 democrats, who support this amendment.

People this is a very good video, the issue is completely current, and dems have a huge segment of the Senate trying to ram this through.

I guess Democrats really do not see any problem with CONGRESS being in charge of what can and cannot be said in politics, as if CONGRESS were somehow objective in the matter.

Most Democrats look upon their member of congress as a benevolent master and never question that master as long as the master continues feeding them table scraps. They’re like good little dogs.

That was a fabulous speech. He cited Teddy Kennedy among other prominent rats who defended free speech.

As for the amendment, the rats are PO’d that the pubbies didn't filibuster debate. The rats intended to control the remaining limited floor time as they hammered the GOP for standing with billionaires who supposedly benefit from the Citizens United Scotus decision.

Now, the Republicans can connect vulnerable rats to their latest attempt to finish off what remains of the 1st Amendment. Well done!
