I hope that you and every one of your like-minded relatives and friends are doing everything in their power to save the country. It’s in big trouble, but I still think we can turn this around.

That is not a nail biter. When an incumbent only polls 42% going into the campaign season, he’s in deep trouble.

This race is a key one and could easily go either way.

“... The survey of 750 Likely Voters in Colorado
was conducted on June 25-26 ...”

Why are they just now talking about
the results of a poll that was taken in June?

So they can influence voters in Udall’s favor.

Udall is in trouble and I see a Gardner win. Incumbents usually don’t win if they are not polling at least 50%.

My local liberal rag newspaper (The Durango Herald) gave Udall some unfavorable coverage just a few days ago. Not a good sign.

I don’t think the Republicans will take the Senate.

They have failed to nationalize the election and rally anyone. It doesn’t help when you don’t present a real vision.

Just ask Mitt Romney. I believe he thought a win was certain by just showing up. Doesn’t work that way.....

I don’t think the Republicans will take the Senate.

In the day and age of highly sophisticated, data-driven outreach, micro-targeting and GOTV techniques, it's actually hard to tell because there's a LOT going on under the radar.

Looking back at 2012, Blacks turned out at a higher level than expected, while White Conservatives turned out at a lower level than anticipated. A big reason for this is that Obama's massive GOTV application (Narwhal) worked, while Romney's (Orca) blew up the morning of election day and took his GOTV effort with it.

Now that's certainly not all of it, but it is a large chunk of it. I believe the analyses saying (since 2008, at least) that we're now in an era where things like paid advertising are used to drive up negatives/drive down turnout to keep the wildcard factor at a minimum, with elections being decided by the highly sophisticated GOTV systems couples with a "Knock & Drag" philosophy about getting supporters out to the polls.

Probably not necessary this time. The dems have angered alot of people starting with obamacare and going the gamut through many issues. Now with the blacks going around attacking whites their is no reason to believe whites will turn out for the dems. And they need whites to win. This should be an easy win for us.

Had Gardner not backed out of his support for Personhood like a coward, he’d be cleaning Udall’s clock./

The debate should be interesting. Udalls are not known for telling the truth, and they are all nanny staters. I wish New Mexico could get rid of the sorry Udall we have.

Incumbents usually have a double digit lead, 7 weeks out from the election.

They may win anyway, but it would be so very easy to have ads against Obamacare, for instance. But they really are leaderless.

The magazine ban really alienated a bunch of the base of the ruling party.

You don't piss off your base and win elections.

Hopefully, after the recalls, and maybe in November, a new set of lying politicians that listen to the voters will take charge.

Bloomburg didn't help with the outside influence thing.

That’s pretty weak.

Obama has rallied the Republicans. Democrat Senators up for re-election are running away from Obama.
