The Arabic website of the Qatar-based news network Al Jazeera reportedly published an extraordinarily offensive piece this week mocking the beheaded U.S. journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley. The piece questioned the authenticity of the two videotaped beheadings, suggesting that both men and their killers were straight out of “Hollywood” casting and that their murders were “unconvincing.”
The report was flagged and translated by the competing regional news network, Al Arabiya:
Appearing insensitive to the feelings of the victim’s family, the report – published under the “reports and interviews” section of the pan-Arab channel’s Arabic website on Thursday – said Foley likely fabricated the video, despite confirmations from the U.S. government that the video was real.
“Perhaps the first thing that draws the attention of the viewer” in the first beheading video is that “Foley was playing the role of champion not the victim only, for he recites a lengthy statement in peerless theatrical performance, and it seems from tracking the movement of his eyes that he was reading a text from an autocue,” the Al Jazeera report said.
The report even expressed doubts over the identity of the masked killer, saying: “he does not have the features of common jihadist figures, but he was rather similar to a Hollywood actor.”
The report in Al Jazeera suggested that these events were “staged,” indicated that the editing of the tapes were oddly edited, and questioned why “the knife being moved on the neck of the victim six times triggered no blood.” It indicates that the aim of these two supposed beheadings was to create a pretext to justify Western intervention in Syria.

I too remain unconvinced that ether are dead.
I was wondering about that myself, especially when websites hosting the videos were threatened and all but shut down when people started questioning the videos authenticity. I do not trust anything today under this administration. For all we know this whole ISIS thing could be one huge distraction while the radical Muzzie in the White house pulls something in from the back door. Since when do radical Muslims NOT show a beheading? The Nick Berg one, they show everything, and the video is still on the net. No government threats of banning a website that hosts it. That Foley beheading for example, a lot of questions in that. Just why was Foley so eager to say all that stuff bashing the US and even against his own brother? If he knew he was going to die why didn’t he tell ISIS to F off? Plus what guy who knows he is minutes away from death can speak clearly like that? I’ve been in life and death situations before, it becomes almost impossible to talk normally because your mouth gets bone dry from fear. And then they show the knife going to his neck in a sawing motion and absolutely no blood shows.
You can see the initial cut. It’s unusual that it was edited, but their heads are laying on top of their backs in typical Islamic fashion at the end.
The only conspiracy I’m sure of his how they have gone all out lately to shift the focus from Iraq to Syria. They wanted into Syria two years ago and Americans didn’t go for it. The push for it was huge too.
I am invested in a stable Iraq with no beheaded Christian children. Syria? I still don’t care if Assad survives or not.

And Foley didn't even flinch nor show any emotion as he was knowingly led off to his beheading? There's and awful lot that is not credible here that can't simply be brushed off as "unsual editing" including the editing itself. Not unusual, but unprecedented.
If it was staged, wouldn’t thy show blood squirting all over the place? I didn’t watch, nor will I ever watch, the videos.
There’s absolutely no blood whatsoever. What happens is they show the knife being put to his neck and the knife is moved back and forth in a sawing motion but there is no blood! Then the picture fades, and then goes to a shot of a head completely covered in blood sitting on top of a body, but you can’t tell if it’s Foleys head because it’s completely covered in blood while there is hardly any blood on the body! So what happened? Did the blood shoot up in the air covering his entire head while they were beheading him? There is definitely something very fishy about all this. And then this English rapper they got doing the beheading, the guy sounds like Ali-G when he talks, it’s comical.
I expect nothing less from the jihadi-headchopper network.
Are all the Christians in Syria dead?
The head laying on his back is enough proof to me. They’re editing it to make it more ‘palatable’. But he was cut open, you can tell.
I’ve seen other beheadings that show the body puking up white stuff as the head it cut off, they are making it more ‘clean’ for the masses. Most usually just take the knife and squirm for a bit and then go out.
No, but we didn’t invade Syria and walk away leaving them unsecured.
While they were allegedly sawing his head off, did he squirm? Fight back? Scream? Gurgle? Act in any way consistent with a person getting his head sawed off?
No way I’m going to watch to find out!
And the beheadings of Christian children in Iraq is also a hoax?
