Poroshenko speaking...”The whole world knows Ukraine as a nation that strictly observes its obligations”....

Ignore that little overthrow of a duly elected president thingy.

I would think that countries that share a border with what will be left of Ukraine, under the rule of Kiev, would want to protect their borders and their nationality on both sides of the border. I would also think that eastern Ukraine, with its very resourceful and very determined population, would be an excellent buffer against Turkey if things get out of control there.

The world makes no sense.

What exactly would Putin invading Ukraine accomplish for him...nothing...which is why that’s not going to happen. He has what he said he would take if they pursued the Nato Expansion into Ukraine....and he specifically said Crimea. ...that was in 2009.

So the fact Putin did so was not the surprise the US and Nato are projecting it as.

What none of them understood and greatly underestimated was how Eastern Ukriane would respond to the Interim Us installed Gov.....nor the thuggery of Poroshenko when he began shelling the East relentlessly.

As one of our military leaders stated...Ukraines Military Leadership only wants to bomb...not fight on the ground...ad they have no control of the forces.

So so course how many times now as Poroshenko changed the Military leadership? Three or four now.

In fairness I think Poroshenko is ‘currently’ attempting to do things his way...and not following the US lead to do what they want....might be wrong but he IS talking with the EAstern Leadership...and needed to do so long ago.

Or ABC is taking part in the beat down of obamaumao, to set up for Hitlery (that theatrical effort w/in the dem party elite).

In any case, don’t like it when idiots misconstrue history and once again malign a particular flag to confuse. They wouldn’t get the St. Andrews cross part anyway at ABC. Disney tootie fruities.

Fly it proudly. Deo Vindice.

It’s also not the stars and bars either which someone said .
I guarantee that if the stars and bars were put up most of this country would have no idea what flag it was , including the race baiters and the NAACP and I bet obama

Such a highly contested part of that world, for centuries.
Thanks caww. Your comments filled in the various actors lot better for me. Putin is no Romanov- so that makes it all kinda weird.

Oh it flies proudly, and I recently bought an acre of land as soon as you come into the neighborhood, and yes there is a battle flag flying there for all to see.

If men could carry that , drop their weapons and go forward and give their life ten the least I can do is to fly it and wait for some idiot to give me the PC version of their agenda.

A variant of the Confederate flag.

Without the stars in the bars of course.

I wonder when the Ukrainian army will demand to be paid in a hard currency instead of in dollars...

Putin’s more of a Leninist. His dad and he worked for the secret police, so being a lying, cruel, cunning, pitiless, statist opportunist is who he is.

They won’t demand to be paid in Russian Rubles that’s for sure. The Russian Ruble has dropped to an all time low vice the US dollar.

Those with a cold war mentality are not interested in what Putin is saying nor what he believes regarding his country, Ukraine and the International Community....you don’t have to go back very far to hear hims warning about exactly ow Nato and the EU/US are playing it out today. HE saw it coming and many times spoke to International Representatives about it.

Poroshenko was ‘our man’ waiting in the wings while the Intirim dirtbags did the grunt work and dirty stuff from the Maiden violent takeover to the extended conflict in Eastern Ukraine....that’s why their dirt bags.

Yats was otherwise hopeful and I think was manilulated greatly... and he got stung so left early...he saw he couldn’t buck US authority...nor was he getting what they promised. He got them the Ukraine gold (as the down payment on the 5 Billion the US supported the Revolution with)..the very first week. Yats was the “money” guarantee...and also the banker overall...control of the monies...until he had it taken from him.

When Putin looked to be the one up-comer for Pres. the US/Eu were having kissy fits. They knew well he’d put a crunch in their Global Expansion, whereas Yeltson was their doughboy along with Berecovsky and his gang that running Russia. You can see Berecovskyy hob-knobbing with many American Investers and Politicians throughout the 90’s onward. there were many who then, and now, want to see Putin fall and out of Russia so they can go back and continue stripping RUssia of it’s resources and it’s power.

They knew if they hit Ukraine they could rile Putin and put a wedge between him and the EU ..who were fast forming their own alliances....US was equally as fast loosing it’s sway in the entire East and West...so something had to give.

Bo’s “asian putt” didn’t materialize as he wanted...nor with China. He’s tripping all over himself abroad...and Kerry is as well. They’ve both made fools of themselves.

At any rate....Oligarchs who fled to the US and EU after Putin outed them are in lockstep with Nato, and Poroshenko is/was to some degree...he’s become a wild card recently.

I personally think Merkel got thru to Poroshenko that he had to talk to the Rebels in the East...and to Putin. So that’s happening now. Make no mistake...Merkle is a heavy hitter in this game.

Meanwhile...Putin has made it clear he supports a ceasefire in Ukraine...but with that still denying Russia tropps are actively involved beyond humanitary efforts. He has to...and the international leaders knows why he has to deny and are on board with him saying so.

Putin;s got a long way to go with Russia...but anyone who studies what the man has done FOR Russia since he took office knows well he stopped the entire collapse of the nation...and his people know he did as well. Tyrant or not to some...he remains the only leader that’s “for Russia” and it’s people as much as a politician can be.
