President Obama received a tepid response from veterans as he voiced his foreign policy ideals during a speech at the American Legion’s 96th national convention in North Carolina. Staring blankly at his teleprompter, Obama recited his speech, pausing for applause that never came.

I;ve done that with people who have stickers which state health care or vets for Obama.
I have asked them questions and every time they have no idea. One woman had never been a vet but had the sticker, turns out she was not a fan of the military either but had the sticker to make it look like vets were for him.

You are right — Those veterans had a lot of class and were more polite than I would have been. I would have either stood up and turned my back or walked out.
