Illegal Migrant Wave Overwhelming School Districts

Thursday, 14 Aug 2014 06:27 AM

By Elliot Jager

Municipal school systems around the country are gearing up to absorb tens of thousands of children who arrived illegally from Central America for the new school year, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The influx, mostly from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala, will stress the resources of schools from large metropolitan areas to small towns from California to New York. A minimum of 37,000 children who have been placed with sponsors as of July 31 are eligible to attend public school, according to the Journal.

Among the systems expected to be most heavily impacted are Texas, where over 5,000 illegal migrant pupils will be showing up for school as well as New York and California, which will each get about 4,000 arrivals, the Journal reported.

My wife and I were reminiscing about how much paper we had to provide to get our kids into the school system. If we hadn’t done that, it would have been Catch 22: They can’t come without the right papers (including vaccinations, a good idea) but you would be prosecuted for not having them in school.

In some ways, life is easier for illegals. Obviously, it isn’t entirely great—that picture doesn’t look like a fun activity.

Who will be enrolling in your schools?

UNACCOMPANIED "MINORS" HERE FOR A BETTER LIFE?
OR CENTRAL AMERICA CHILD CRIMINALS HERE TO WREAK HAVOC?

Adolescents, teens and pre-teens are prevalent in Third
Worlds as armed members of violent gangs and drug cartels.

We don’t know where all the illegal migrants are or what age they are. They were spread around the country in secret. we have a shadow population and I am betting none are ever deported

If this map is true, note the pattern here.
Most relocations are occurring in "red states". Coincidence? Hardly. Like the old Bolsheviks, BH0 and the Marxist Democrats think long term. They may lose in the next election cycle or two, but in 20 - 25 years, Conservatives (as opposed to Progressive Republicans) won't be able to be elected to a school board , much less a national office.

This is text book Cloward and Piven.

A fresh load of Takers for the dwindling group of Makers to finance. Shame on this lousy government, and especially the wooly-headed wonders in the Supreme Court. They can repeal marriage as we’ve known it since Adam and Eve, but they can’t repeal a stupid SCOTUS ruling of 1982 that says the US taxpayer will pay for squatters’ children no matter how many hundred show up at once.

This could literally break small school districts because property owners can’t afford the extra burden inflicted on them by a government that is derelict in its duty to protect its borders.

84% of them are teenagers. Montgomery County, MD received 107 of these "unaccompanied minors," with 100 of them being high school students.

American kids are going to suffer

There are so many federally mandated programs for non-English speaking students, for those with "special needs", for those in difficult home environments and for those with low academic skills. The testings, evaluations, and rehabilitave therapies provided are already overwhelming schools. Even physical space is a problem as these specialists get more students.

Who's going to suffer? Average and above average students. They'll be in larger classes, have less programs provided for them, and the less qualified students tend to seep upward. This will be a drag on mandatory testing scores, as teachers are overwhelmed with the needs of these students. Then there are going to be at least some inevitable gang territory conflicts and the difficulty of young people who've seen a lot of violence and even become victims of sex trafficking.

This is the first time I can honestly say I'm glad to be totally retired. I don't think I could emotionally handle being there and being part of what has to be the deliberate massacre of what's left of public school education in the US.

And where is the lame stream media on this illegal invasion?

Silence, because in the long run it benefits their party and ideology. The ends justify the means, which means treason is OK with them as long as the continue to build power. The left is at war with our traditional Constitutional Republic and we should treat them as the war criminals they are.

“Conservatives (as opposed to Progressive Republicans) won’t be able to be elected to a school board , much less a national office.”

There are damn few conservatives on school boards, they are hand picked by the teachers union. School boards are elected in off years on odd-ball dates with nothing else on the ballot. Few people vote in those elections.

They have it down to a science.

It appears that you were a teacher. Thank you. I received my schooling in the 50s and 60s. I still remember the names of every teacher I had that worked so hard to make sure that I was ready for life.

If the Dems don´t get decimated in November, then this nation is finished and I’m moving to either Israel (where I’ll be granted citizenship) Australia, or Canuckland.

Mmmmmm....best take those figure WRT "ages" w/ a grain of salt. Lots of false information is being given out---aided and abetted by the Obama admin.

REFERENCE 10,000 Bostonians surrounded the State House protesting the illegal onslaught. Massachusetts taxpayers were understandably upset:

Adult illegals, trucked in from the border, were posing as "unaccompanied alien children," and were attempting to enroll in MA public high schools.

“Some of them had gray hair, saying they’re 17 years old, and have no documentation,” said Lynn mayor’s office.School policy is to check w/ family----who confirmed at least one HS enrollee was a 35-year old adult.

Gray-haired men enrolling in MA schools? More like drug lords infiltrating schools---planning to set up lifelong lucrative businesses getting kids addicted......giving out free samples. Could also be sex traffickers ---lining up kiddies for johns (and for pedophiles) who pay big bucks to get ahold of the little darlings.

====================================================

BACKSTORY Bostonians are still still reeling from the Boston Marathon bombing---now discovering 144 counties were crossing the border into the US......and were coming to Massachusetts.

After the Boston bombing, Mass Gov Deval Patrick ordered Massachusetts govt agencies to conceal welfare documents from taxpayers. But sources who saw 500 pages of welfare documents (requested by a state legislator) told News Center 5 that the entire Chechan immigrant Tsarnaev family, including (1) the two immigrant bombers' parents, (2) the two suspects themselves (here on expired visas), (3) their immigrant sisters, (4) the widow of the bomber suspect killed, and, (5) their child -- received "every conceivable public benefit available out there." (Excerpt) Read more at wcvb.com

MA taxpayers financed the killing and maiming of their own friends and neighbors.
